• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Double Play is a Home Run

I like this as neat as possible, it seems to make sense to tap in where Lamont did, but I want to be sure I am getting the right wire.

Double Play is a Home Run

ACC Circut I have a lot of wires running around the Spyder with the 8 pod Wizard lights, and double/triple play. I want to eliminate the long orange wire going from front to back powering the double play. Did anyone ever figure out exactly which color wire that Lamont hooked up to? Best I...

    Shock Covers - Installed

:agree: I ordered one for the rear the first time I saw how much dirt gets thrown into that shock, but the fronts stay clean and I prefer the uncovered look.

IS YOUR SPYDER YOUR ONLY TRANSPORTATION?

The Spyder is not my only form of tranportation, but it is my prefered one. Right now I am using a Grand Cherokee for day to day. I would drive the Spyder when the roads are salt free, but it is stripped down and jacked up in the garage for mods and maintainence. I also have a Celica GTS...

    Ugh...stupid license plate light cover

Sure, an old clear dvd case should work fine. Good luck on the bidding, but remember, you can pick up a reflector at Walmart for $5, modify it and you will have the added benefit of an brake light as well. And some of the other LED lights I saw in this forum look pretty good too, but I dont...

    Ugh...stupid license plate light cover

If you decide to modify a store bought light, I saw where someone used the clear plastic from an old cassette case instead of using the one from the old reflector. If you are too young to have any old cassette cases, I am sure I can find one in my basement!

Can someone post how to on rear brake pads?

Thanks Scotty, I will do that. I figured I would get a hold of the dealer and see if they had the bolts in stock so I was looking on the parts list and those bolts do come as a package with the pad kit, I am guessing they are not sold seperately. What I thought was blue Locktite on the bolts...

    Spyder Keys and keyring

In the pants pockets, not the jacket. Too many keys get locked in the trunk after the driver stips off a jacket and throws it in the trunk. Now, if you are in the habit of also stripping off your pants when you get off of the Spyder, you should stick the key somewhere else! :lecturef_smilie:
