• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

PedalBox and Pedal Commander - what do they do and how do they work?

Bingo, we have a winner. Same thing I have found playing around with the Car Test app on my phone. Virtually no difference except for the initial feel which makes you think it's going twice as fast.

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

Why, why, why go with belt drive? Oh, I get it now, it's like most of the 4 x 4 trucks on the road, strictly for eye candy not for real use.

Who wants a thread listing Dealers who'll work on older Spyders?

What if the list were reversed? These dealers do not work on Spyders over 10 years old:

Manufacturing Kenya tires at its best!

Got a healthy giggle when I got to that vid. They were using a very ruff copy of the Bandag tire recapping process. Our retired tire supervisor would have fell out of his chair and needed an ambulance ride if he would have seen it. He actually spent a good part of a year during his travels...

Anyone else had problems with Fuel in oil? Ideas?

Allen, I will add to the confusion some more for you. Sometimes you can let things set for several days and check the oil cold and it will be right on the full mark. Go for ride and repeat the cold test and the dipstick might not even touch the oil. That is what has caused nightmares for...

Anyone else had problems with Fuel in oil? Ideas?

Not hooey, but after a ride you are not going to pull up and shut the engine down at 5,000 PRM's. It's going to idle for a short while which should be more than enuff to return any oil to the sump. I guess I need to dig out the post or at least the data where I did actual testing of idle...

'24 F3 Customer Accessory Circuits don't match manual - splice into them or... ??

Or, maybe getting an accessory fuse block that can be switched on and off and use the power from the Spyders accessory circuit to do the switching. Then you can have multiple outlets at 8 amps or more.

My bet goes for them coming with 3 wheels, other than that, who knows.

Looking at Running/Fog Lights - Which do you recommend? Which LED & Fog Light kit?

That's why I like them tied to the bright light switch. That way you can have them off at all times or if you turn their switch on, they won't be unless the high beams are on.

Looking at Running/Fog Lights - Which do you recommend? Which LED & Fog Light kit?

I have the Slingmods version on my 2019 RTL. Although they advertised it for the 2019 they had to make a special bracket so I could make it work. Very bright and I love the dynamic feature. Hooked mine up thru a relay so when I turn on the hi beams they come on. I do a lot of back roads...

Anyone tried "Speed Bleeders" brake bleeders?

OK, so you open the bleeder, pumped the brakes, and all is well? Did any brake fluid come out?

What have you done for Heated Gear Wiring, inc Location - '20+ RT's?

Not that I would trust pulling this kind of electrical load. Seems most folks add an auxiliary relay-controlled fuse box, which only powers on when the switch is on, to power accessories. This hooks straight to the battery and has multiple outlets for different things. You can get them from...

Anyone tried "Speed Bleeders" brake bleeders?

The part that makes speed bleeders so nice is not having to open and close the bleeder with each pump of the pedal.
