• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are your impressions of 2024 windshield vs older aftermarket choices?

You might hang on to the Madstad regardless. If it won't fit the new bike, it will sell well on the used market. Sarah

2022 Ryker Rally - Rattle in Drive Shaft/Under Seat at Low RPM/Speed - any ideas?

Jason, I couldn't tell from your video if it's the same racket, but I wanted to let you know my bike has always had a clack-clack-clack at slow take off, forward and reverse. The service tech said it's normal and more noticeable on some bikes than others. You'll find posts about it in the...

Anyone have one of the new Can Am Advex helmets?

You might take a look at the Schuberth line, ketchup. Quietest we've found so far. Sarah

Is there a way to mount a luggage rack behind the Ryker's solo seat?

Please keep us posted on your luggage project, 3whlbliss. We're always looking for luggage solutions for these bikes. Good luck! Sarah

How do you delete the Ryker's Reverse Hazard Lights thing?

I've not read of anyone deleting it, but lots of folks put foam tape over the speaker to dampen it down a bit. I don't like the racket much either, the volume and tone seem better suited to a tank. I push the bike back with my feet when I can. Sarah

What makes a Spyder's smoother ride vs. Ryker?

Hang in there Chuck, and let us know how it goes after you adjust the pressure. Have you tried moving your handle bars in the various slots and the foot pegs along the rails to see if that makes a difference in comfort? A tall, lanky buddy of mine rides an F3 and says she feels more...

What makes a Spyder's smoother ride vs. Ryker?

Listen to Peter, Chuck. He and the most of the other folks on the forum have been riding these bikes from the early days, while I just fell off the turnip truck a year or so ago. I asked about tire pressures mainly just to make sure you weren't running them too high. You'd be surprised at the...

Is there a way to mount a luggage rack behind the Ryker's solo seat?

The Rally, like the Sport, comes with the max mount installed from the factory. Since you can't use it, would you be better off buying a standard 900 and upgrading various components to suit? The two racks I listed bolt to the frame of the bike itself, and are specifically for use without the...

Let the work begin... 2015 F3 with a new (used) engine being installed.

Wonderful! Yep, we've got to see some pictures. Are you absolutely sure you want to sell those Shad bags, Scott? Sounds to me like you're ready to hit the road for days at a time. And we all know nothing beats touring on a bike. Sarah

What makes a Spyder's smoother ride vs. Ryker?

Chuck, I'm one of those that happily tour on a Ryker, and I rode mine to Alaska last summer. It's no good to feel beat up by the bike, takes all the fun out of the ride. What tire pressures are you running? You'd be surprised at the difference that can make. Sarah

Dang it. Hang in there Scott, and thanks for the update. Great job gathering up the odds and ends, too. Sarah

So glad to have the forum back, thank you! I was trying to help a buddy look into F3 foot positions and brake rods and felt cut off from the world. Sarah

Is there a way to mount a luggage rack behind the Ryker's solo seat?

Can you post a picture of this seat on a bike? The two racks I posted bolt underneath the frame, I believe. Sarah

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

Folks, if you have a bike with that off-brand junk factory battery, I'd encourage you to replace it proactively. Mine suddenly went belly up in the Yukon Territory last year with replacements few and far between. Finally found one at NAPA in Whitehorse at the tune of $250. Sarah

Are you happy with your aftermarket CAR tires?

I wanted to be sure and say thanks to Ron for posting up this thread. Sifting through the various tire options can be overwhelming, so it's nice to have good information all in one place. Sarah
