• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DID Make My Mind up! - Big D's Mighty Red Baron has Arrived!

I am relatively young when it comes to the age of spyder riders (58 in 8 days), and didn't even get into riding bikes until my 40th birthday. So I have been riding less than 18 years. But I am on my 6th spyder and have owned 13 or so 2 wheelers in that time. Got my first spyder in 2014 after...

Has The Rear Suspension Improved on the latest Spyders?

I say to expect better ride quality and smoothness. But also expect worse build quality. I have a 2021 and it has given me more problems that the other 5 spyders combined. But I still love it.

    2023 RT Limited - First Observations/Comparison to 2015 RT-S

Congrats on the new scoot. I went from a 2014 RT to the F3T, and now have a 2021 RTL (a couple of others in between). I find a lot of things that you stated to be true. But, I have found that the saddle bags and frunk are indeed about the same size. I was able to fit the same interior...

Problem with key seat release not working, any ideas?

How or what panels did you have to remove for the F3 series? On the linked video, it seemed to be for the RT. I need rear seat removal on the F3T.

Having trouble removing the rear seat - anyone else? Any fixes?

Does anyone have a link to how to possibly remove the rear seat when it is stuck? I understand that there are a couple of panels that can possibly be removed to manually unlatch the rear seat. If not, I might have to schedule a service appointment to get it done. I really don't want to pay...

Review: The Can-Am Ryker... A Great Ride!

Well, the Ryker Rally that I was looking at fell through. Found out his asking price was less than the payoff, so he was forced to increase his price, or make up the difference (which he wasn't able to do). But I have come across a deal on a 900 Ryker. The milage is higher, so I must ask, how...

Oil change question - any inexpensive sockets for the oil filter?

I actually used a large adjustable wrench. It worked great. No scratches and no issues.

Review: The Can-Am Ryker... A Great Ride!

Thanks guys for all the input. I am really thinking about picking up one. I have my eyes on a great deal for a 2020 900 Rally edition. It hasn't been off roaded and only has a little over 2000 miles. After hearing the comments about the air filter and possible heating up of the belt, how hot do...

Anyone else's F3-T rear seat jammed? Any ideas/advice?

What is the fix if you can't get it open? I will definitly do the loop once it is off, but it doesn't help me now.

How big is Too Big for a Ryker? What's a good price?

I try to stay off interstates even when riding the spyder. The main time I do is when we are making a bee line home. But if i got a ryker and took it to the mountains, I would probably actually trailer it there behind my small SUV and just have a blast while there and ride in comfort on the...

Review: The Can-Am Ryker... A Great Ride!

Thanks for your honest review. As you saw from my post earlier, I am considering replacing my 2 wheeler with one. One of my biggest concerns is the suggested replacement of the belt every 10k miles and possible maintenance cost. Still looking, and have come across a smoking deal on a 900...

Has anybody heard any rumors on the 2025 Spyder Models? New line-up released!

On my car, it senses the distance that you are away from the car in front of you. So if you have cruise set on 65 and you come up behind someone going 55, it will match the 55 speed until they move out of the way. Then it will resume the speed that you currently have it set. On mine, I have 3...

Has anybody heard any rumors on the 2025 Spyder Models? New line-up released!

I don't plan on updating anytime soon, but that adaptive cruise control would be nice. My mustang has it and I consider it to be one of those things that I didn't know how much I would appreciate it until I had a chance to use it. The biggest update that I would have liked on my 2021 RT would...

How big is Too Big for a Ryker? What's a good price?

Thanks for that information. No, I am not into off roading at all. But there are a couple of dirt and unpaved roads that I have really wanted to explore in the NC/Tenn mountains, as well as at home. A good example is the dirt road to the observation or fire tower off Wayah Rd. just outside of...

How big is Too Big for a Ryker? What's a good price?

I am on my Spyder number 5 and 6 (2016 F3L and 2021 RTL). I have always had good luck with them and am truly a fan. I also have a 2-wheeler that I have enjoyed. I have lately thought about giving up the 2-wheeler and possibly picking up a Ryker Rally. My reasons are that I just feel safer on the...

Another Bucket List Ride (Arctic Circle)

Thanks, I will look into that. One of the most interesting ones was the 83-year-old guy who did 48 states in 38 days (or something like that). He did a great break-down of what seems like every penny he spent for hotels, food, snacks, etc. as well as the miles travelled, and the amount spent for...

Another Bucket List Ride (Arctic Circle)

That is so awesome! A buddy and I are looking at taking about 6 weeks to do a cross-country trip, and back. I am keeping a keen eye on all of these threads about you guys who are doing the cross country, Alaska, and Arctic Circle trips; trying to get all the knowledge that I can. Safe travels...

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

I am on my 6th spyder and did my first oil change about 3 months ago. My last paid oil change was $400 at my local dealership. Prior to that it was always $262 and I was happy with that. When they went over $400, I was done. The oil change was very easy. I used a stubby 3/8" ratchet in...

2016 F3T ACS (Suspension) won't hold air! Safe to ride? Fixes?

I had a leak in the bag on my 2016 F3T. It would only hold air for about an hour at best. This happened while on a week long trip to the NC mountains. I had stock size tires on the bike and the biggest difference that I saw was a very hard ride whenever hitting a bump. This was with my wife...

Has anybody heard any rumors on the 2025 Spyder Models? New line-up released!

Well, since the title of the thread said something about "rumors", I will go ahead and start one. The F3 series will get a total remake. The RT series did a major redo after a 10 year run (2010-2019), so it is now time for the F3 series to do the same thing. It has remained mostly unchanged...
