• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone seen or have info on this electric Ryker shifter mod?

Curious what magic double-jointed Allen wrench you used to get up in there to loosen/tighten the bolt - especially after you repositioned the lever more to the rear? I was able to get the bolt loose and out, but if I'd repositioned the lever, I couldn't see a way to get it tightened back up...

Any Pro/Con comments on Ryker OEM Heated Grips? Anyone installed them?

LOL! I have loads of "I shulda done it this way" experiences. Part of life and we (hopefully) learn from it. Appreciate the comment on the bike. I think I really got lucky in my perfectly timed search for a three-wheeler that was loaded down with options that allow me to continue my...

Any Pro/Con comments on Ryker OEM Heated Grips? Anyone installed them?

In one regard, that (switched) connection will keep prying finger from activating your grips when you're away from the bike and running down your battery. Also, IIRC, that connection uses a 7.5A fuse, so you may be pushing the envelope on that, depending on the current draw of the grip heaters...

Anyone considered towing a Cargo Trailer with their Ryker?

Interesting. That's very close to what I was consider doing. My concern is the integrity of lateral (side-to-side) support.

Anyone considered towing a Cargo Trailer with their Ryker?

Okay, I have an idea in my mind’s eye but need to get some thinner gauge plate I can easily (and more quickly) cut out into some forms with my plasma cutter that I think will work. Also eliminates the need for any longer bolts to test it out to see if it’s even feasible after tack welding the...

Any Pro/Con comments on Ryker OEM Heated Grips? Anyone installed them?

Well, I did decide to bite the bullet and ordered them from Leaders RPM Shop through eBay; they had the best pricing. Gonna have to pull the LH fairing panel and top cover off, as well as removing the glove box for the install. I have managed run other wiring without pulling glove box, so we'll...

Anyone considered towing a Cargo Trailer with their Ryker?

Yes, I'd like that too.... especially on the LH side where it looks like you tied into the swingarm (???. Also, it also appears that the trailer is a single-wheeled type, similar to the older Unigo. (???) That's another question. My Ryker came fully loaded with the full SwingMods luggage...

Anyone considered towing a Cargo Trailer with their Ryker?

Older thread, but I’m interested in this as well because I’ve towed a CycleMate CM 1000 utility trailer behind my ’95 Kawasaki Concours for years. Several years ago I won a set of Delkevic slip-on pipes for the bike at a COG rally down in Helen, GA. Unfortunately, they weren’t compatible with...

Blue Ridge Pkwy Fall Foliage Video Clip

Last Friday the foliage on the Blue Ridge Parkway (BRP) in Central Virginia was supposed to be approaching peak, so I took a little run over that way to check it out. I left N. Chesterfield and headed west on Rte. 60 and took it over to where it intersected with the Parkway, roughly 123 miles. I...

Start'em Young - introducing Youth to Motorcycles

Wednesday Evening Youth Bible Study Group with an introduction to motorcycles. Even tho' I have 3 other 2-wheelers in the garage, I took my new-to-me 2022 Ryker Sport.

Any Pro/Con comments on Ryker OEM Heated Grips? Anyone installed them?

Back when the earth was still hot, I got a set of Kimpex grip heaters for my Kawasaki Concours. These were the type that had a dropping resistor that enabled a “low” setting. Thought that was a little flaky so I never installed them (sold them on eBay). A year or so later, a bike accessory...

Any Pro/Con comments on Ryker OEM Heated Grips? Anyone installed them?

Curious if anyone has installed Ryker OEM Heated Grips, part # 219401115, and have pro/con comments? Since I ride year-round, I've installed them on my other 2-wheelers. Now with a 2022 Ryker Sport, I am considering doing the same. anyone? TIA

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

Not being familiar with the various CanAm 3-wheelers, I kinda suspected that was a Spyder front end.

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

What year/model do you have? Your front suspension looks considerably different than the one of my 2022 Ryker Ace 900 Sport. My upper A arms are elliptical in cross-section, so I don't think the brackets that can be ordered with the lights would supply a uniform grip.

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

The machine is still new to me, and I haven't stripped off enough of the panels yet to see what I can use to mount some brackets. Previous brackets I had made could easily be mounted outside of the body work using existing screws. They worked great, but drop the bike and they could cause a...

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

If I may ask, how did you mount them? Also, looks like they have changed what's included. The harness and switch appears to be a separate ~$9.00 item that you need to order.

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

"CHANGE to LED's & ADD even more lights; even better!!" I have a couple of Auxito H4 LED bulbs coming to replace the main lights (used one of them before in another bike), but can you comment (good, bad, ugly) on the aux lights that Hypnotic Concepts has that Swingmods sells for the Ryker...

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

Good enough for me. The Connie's headlamp construction is a glass semi-Fresnel-type lens and a steel bodied housing. The H4 bulb's steel flange is held into position with a steel spring that puts pressure on the three tabs and keeps them tight against the mount in the bucket. That dissipates...

Anyone running 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker?

Curious if anyone has run 80/100w H4 bulbs in their Ryker? I swapped out the 55/60w H4 in my Kawasaki Concours with the higher wattage bulbs to improve night-time illumination and was very happy with change. I did try several of the LED bulbs that were out there, but their patterns and...
