• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Planning a trip to Niagara Falls/need your input

Spyder pontoons------? You sir have obviously not tried the new and vastly improved falls diving Spyder Pontoons of Iran. These pontoons are light weight and while a bit of a eye sore to some do in fact float very well. They feature foam floatation, color choice and come in Candy Colors...

    QUESTION FOR SPYDERLOVERS?

    Polk Audio speakers

2012RTS speakers I too bought a 2012 RT S and it came with rear speakers and rear volume controls. No CB but then I haven't used a CB for over 30 years. The Limited, I think correct name, comes with the CB and many other features. I have owned many Harleys and the only model that comes with...

New Recall Gas Cap Did Not Fix Gas SMell

Gas fumes 2012 RT I have noted gas fumes coming from my 2012 RTS and it worries me a lot! Very strong on some days--I will let my dealer look into this next visit. I have looked for but never found any signs under the bike. I have noted that after rides in which I run fast I have more fumes...

Older guy & previous rider thinking of RT Limited

Spyder woes-- I am old, 66 and a life long motorcyclist. I have owned over 70 machines with two wheels. I researched my RTS purchase for over four years and tried all the alternatives. Rode Harley trikes and found the yawing too much even in town plus the ride was rough. Did a test ride...

    Air Hoses?

Air Hose problem :ani29: Not knowing which hose and what area it resides in---good quality neoprene hose is available elsewhere from dealers but configuration, as in bends, flares, and such could make a difference as to ability to substitute generic materials. Often hoses on vehicles are...

The BRP full cover has to be the hardiest cover to put on...phew

Me of little knowledge Having absolutely no experience with a Spyder Cover but having experienced many such circumstances I learned that warming the item, gently for some time before that first stretching makes the project go much smoother. I put them in say the bathroom and close the door...

Tires and wheels 12 vs 13

Are the wheel weights the same? Wondering if the total wheel with mounted tire the same weight on the 12 as 13's? Lower weight means less unsprung weight that equals better ride---

    Antennas on RT

Not for long without an antenna--miles that is. You will most likely find that a short distance from your transmitter you will find that the signal weakens sooner without an antenna --a road trip is in order to prove the theory. Some experience with transmissions in my past. Check into...

Oil leak, a.k.a. "That's just grrrreat."

Mechanical things do fail--sadly! I had a very similar mess happen to my 2003 Vrod HD. While doing the Great Lakes Run some years ago I had an oil change done at HD of Cleveland. Twenty miles out from Cleveland I noticed oil all over the drive belt-sprocket area. Took to another HD dealer...

    Engine failure

Grand news! What a fine resolution to your problem. I too would have thought dire thoughts at hearing loud clunks from my Rt's engine upon trying to start. Got to love the technology of our Can Am's but sometimes it gives us pause! A good scare is sometimes good for us--as I'm sure you...
