• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder Loyalty

Like all, love the spyder concept. A couple minor shifting issues that were recently corrected. Have been riding it to my office all summer and enjoyed every bit of it espically my 20 mile route in the morning is along Lake Huron, watching gorgeous sun rises. Intend to continue to ride it and...

    35mph- what gear?

Why do you have to keep the RPM's high? Doesn't that strain the engine more. I would be in 4th. at those speeds where I feel the engine is not strained. I am not an epert though, just makes sense to me.

    Haven't been around much....

Hi Deb Saw the pictures yesterday. I hope they will be able to get back together very soon. Lamonster said in a post that he could make a few phone calls to obtain the parts ?? If that is not the case, you arn't missing much. As you know it has not been best riding weather. BRP has to make...

2 Spyders down for about a month.

I agree, those spyders look so bad as if they were from a junkyard not, a 2 year bike. I hope mine wouldnt look like this in two or three years. I am already thinking I will try to get any salvage value I could from the spyder, in a couple of years and buy another bike its name starts with an H.

    Battery Access

This may sound so basic to so many of you that work on their bikes. How do you gain access to the battery. I read owners manuel, but it is very unclear to me. All I want to do is install a permenant connection ( pigtail!) for connecting the battery tender during winter. Thanks a lot

    On the fence

I will never part with or be with my RS, period. It is just a beautiful and versitle machine, that can easily be converted to a touring bike. My thoughts at present, are if I have to have the RT, I will wait another year or two, use my RS all this while and enjoy it then buy an RT late. This way...

    Recall decision

Thank you Bajaron for your advice. I will check to see how many updates my dealer has done and that will be a indication of his success. I agree with you, logic tells you it is how the dealer handles the update.

    Recall decision

My first thread on this wonderful web site. Wonderful bunch of people. I am scheduled for my 3K oil change and Corbin seat install next week. I am sceptacle about the recall update. Based on lamont survey, and what I have been reading, about 40% are reporting problems. My spyder runs perfect now...

1200 miles and dead in the water

I bought my new SE5 2 months ago. I have had at least a dozen instances where I am stuck in gear 1 or total unable to shift to any gear. A couple of times I was in heavy traffic and was very concerned of being hit by another vehicle unaware of my inbility to move!!! very scary. Called BRP who...
