• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

600 Mile service done in Houston

I feel lucky, my 600 mile service was $175.00 in September. Even that sounded high to me, for mainly just an oil change. Who knows what they really did after that. They show a check list, but you know how that could go.. check, check, check...etc.

    SPYD3R COMPETITION

You put your legs on those, with your feet back on the rear wheels, not to comfy looking. If you see my post on this machine, there is a photo with the rider aboard. I would hate the seating position. The first photo shows the riding position...

    A Bad Day

Bad Day There I was, sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig. "Well, whatcha' gonna do about it?" he says menacingly, as I burst into tears. "Come on, man," the biker says...

    Radiator Fan - Pre 2014

Is it just me, or has anyone thought about where the 2014 radiators are located in relation to the 2013 location. I've only seen photos of the front of the 2014s with the fans showing, which looks to be more forward to me than the 2013s (??? not sure). If you just reverse flow of the 2013 fan...

How many 2013 RT owners DON'T have a heat problem??

I've only had some minor heat issues on my right foot, but really not much more than from the exhaust on my two wheeler. I have no issues with the crotch or leg areas. My wife has not even complained about any heat issues on 2 up rides.

New 2013 RT Battery Tender question

another option... You can also take the short two wire pigtail from the battery tender and connect it to the positive and negative posts that are under the top left black panel just below the windshield. I did this, and left the plug running outside of the left panel just enough to connect it...

    After the MC recall service...

I had my MC recall service done yesterday, no damage was found. I had no other complaints, so I was in and out in an hour. Later last night, I went back to the garage and I smelled something weird. I worried at first that it might be gasoline, but it wasn't gas. I can't really describe the...

    5000 mile service

I think maybe he saw the 5000 Kilometer wording (= ~3000 mi) in the older manuals. My 2013 RT manual says 7500 Kilometers or 4600 miles, so 4000 miles between the 1st and second service.

    ceramic coating

Question: Does fully wrapping the exhaust pipes create any adverse problems to the pipes, or to engine performance. Someone mentioned possible problems with the pipes briefly in another post but I can't find it now. I know I've seen a lot of motorcycles with fully wrapped pipes, but I never...

    ceramic coating

Quote from frank3 on 8/07/2013... "FYI, removed both headers 2 years ago on my 2010 RT-S, had them ceramic coated. Coating didn't make much of a difference so this year I removed the headers again and wrapped them in 1" with a much better reduction in heat. Don't bother with the ceramic JMO. "

Has anybody noticed thier Ronbar shifting to one side?

I don't have the bar, but seeing some installation photos here, there were two split set collars that should hold the bar in place. Were those installed?
