• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Checking Oil Level 2010 RTS SE5

To bad we can't get some of the service techs. at certain dealerships to get on board with the "by the book" procedure. Just went through and over fill issue on my 2012 RT. :spyder2:

    Needing Dealership Recommendation

Thanks Spyderlovers for the info. I was dreading White's as an option. My opinion... They have the "I'm doing you a favor" attitude.

    Needing Dealership Recommendation

Thanks. That's an option, however work schedule's really make that distance a bit much. Are there any owners who can give a thumb's up or down on White's Cycle or Alcoha Good Times? Any one from North GA that may have a suggestion would be appriciated.

    Needing Dealership Recommendation

I am looking for recommendations on a GOOD dealer to service our RT. We live just NE of Chattanooga TN. I know what dealer's are available, but not so much there rep. for maintenance. Thanks in advance! :spyder2:

    Checking oil level

NancysToy... Thanks for all the advice! I appriciate it. Called the dealer, right away they blamed BRP. They had nothing to add, except "bring the bike in and we will look at it." Asked about the fuel/oil issue and was told (no surprise), they had no idea. We all paid to much money for...

    Checking oil level

Thanks! Really trying not to "obsess". The oil seems to have a slight gas smell to it? Now what?

    Checking oil level

If oil in AirBox from over fill... 1. I would guess that cleaning oil from air box and replacing filter is required? 2. How would oil in airbox effect the way it runs.? (It seemed to be lacking a bit of power on yesterdays ride, prior to discovering the over fill issue.) 3. A "blown seal"...

    Checking oil level

Oil Over Fill I'm an idiot! Didn't check oil by the book when I brought it home. I have just put 500 miles on our RT, 200 of that today. I checked the oil after the ride, following the procedures outlined (by the book). It appears it was overfilled. Dip stick wet all the way past full when...

    RIVCO Armrest

Has anyone installed the new RIVCO armrest? http://www.rivcoproducts.com/products/product.php?productid=812&cat=435&page=1#userMedia I like the low profile of this product, but looks as though the attachment points could crack. Any feed back would be a welcome. :spyder2:

    Very discouraged

Stay positive! As other members have stated, it will improve. I also had a bad time with Sciatica as a result of a ruptured disc. The Sciatica was frustrating; the inability to maintain a normal routine was infuriating (riding your Spyder). Physical Therapy was the option I chose over cutting. I...

Adding BRP Bluetooth Dongle - Questions Answered.

I saw a post asking about using non Sena Bluetooth headsets with this dongle setup. I have the Scala (G-9). Is anyone using this with the new dongle and how does it work? Any info would be great!

    HELMET CHOICE

We use the Nolan N-43 Trilogy (with removable chin guard) and the Scala G9. Nice helmets, great fit, with speaker cut outs already in place. Had to use glue plate for mounting the G9. The neck band is to thick for the clamp mount option. :spyder2:
