• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Handling Problem

Nanny Confirmed Riding home this morning it was overcast, having rained during the night. Typically I try to keep my head out of the gauge cluster and on the road, especially when maneuvering. Going around a few tight corners today I made a point of keeping my peripheral vision on the...

    Handling Problem

No, but I haven't had any handling issues at speed either. I have considered it. Also recently picked up a used 2013 windshield, love the difference those little holes make. I turned the radio down a couple clicks since that install.

    Handling Problem

This makes sense......when I first noticed it last year (new spyder) I was able to get it doing the same thing in the local college parking lot turning tighter and faster until it did this. With the front springs maxx'ed out there should not be any bottoming of the suspension, and I would feel...

    Handling Problem

Maybe it is just me, but this seems odd. I now have 5k on my 2012 RT-S. From early on, I installed a Bajaron sway bar. That firmed things up some. Today, I reset the front springs to their highest tension. That made a major difference as well. Still, one thing nags at me. When taking...

    Spyder Sightings

Saw more than I could count in and around Standish Michigan on 5/31. Looked to be a lot of '14 RT's, a lot of groups of 3 or 4. Also passed a parked red RT (couldn't tell much more) on 6/7 our way home from Monroe, Mi. It was parked at Buffalo Wild Wings on Telegraph in Frenchtown.

Glad I was warned before I got hurt

Should have asked him if he has ever spun his tires in the snow or wet weather, then asked why a car that is only driven by one wheel still works ok.

    Driving in 1st

Just took a ten mile run back and forth down the lake shore to an event yesterday, 35 mph speed limit and a nice view of the water. Set the cruise at 34 in second gear and the wife and I enjoyed the trip there and back, and the event (les miz-community theatre) as well. Keep the engine in it's...

    Two Priests

A priest and a rabbi.... A priest and a rabbi are sitting next to each other on an airplane. After a while the priest turns to the rabbi and asks, "Is it still a requirement of your faith that you not eat pork?" The rabbi responds, "Yes, that is still one of our beliefs." The priest then...

I thought it was a polite way to refer to a what a lady does instead of passing wind. Either that or a contraction for "fancy sparkle-y" add-ons.

    Windshield Arm Broken

Heim Joint? It seems like since the problem is related to the windshield torqueing around and cracking the bracket, a better bracket design would include a heim joint (ball end) at the windshield, and some spacers to make up the gap? Then when the windshield torques around on rough roads the...

    Helmet - No comment needed.

Compassion trumps choice? Your analogy above seems seriously flawed. The priest, the Levite and the Samaritan all exercised choice. The Samaritan's choice was to help, no matter what the hurt person would feel towards the Samaritan himself, and without regard to how much money or trouble it was...

Hey, I thought you put me on ignore? No need to fabricate lies about me, just leave me on ignore. I never once defamed logic. Shame on you!! As to democracy, my dislike of it puts me in good company, like that of the founding fathers. Granted, they did see the good in it, but they also saw...

    Helmet - No comment needed.

The fallacy in your argument is that you think that outside influences can stop a person from making their own choices. People go against the group pressure all the time. You can make all sorts of things illegal, and create a whole lot of criminals, but you cannot take away my choice. I am not...
