• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    hand brake

I installed a ISCI brake on my "12 RT, just because I've spent 30+years learning and using the right hand for braking (and also throttle). I still have and use my two wheeler as much as the spyder, and don't want to lose any skill I have learned.

    Anti-Freeze Leak

'12 RT here. Had same problem start last week, 9000 miles. Brought to dealer, they noticed it had been leaking but could not find an active leak. Went for a 2 hr. ride, got home no leak, checked later no leak, checked next morning noticed it had a small amount of anti-freeze around the hose with...

    Mileage vs Oil Usage

2012 RT SM5 with almost 9000 mi. My personal riding experience and style I have noticed when I run over 5000 rpm's I will use a small amount of oil, and the longer I run over 5000 rpm's the more I use. Keeping it under 5000 rpm's I have never had to add oil. Mileage is 30 average, more or less...

On Top of Mount Washington, N.H.

You sure had good luck. My first time up(July '10) it was very foggy, cold 39f, 40mph sustained wind with 60mph gusts. Second time this past August foggy, not as cold-mid 40's, with rain. When we arrived at the top, and went into the gift shop the lady at the counter said they just closed the...

    Touring the "Gaspe", Quebec

we did the Gaspe area the first week of august 2011- also on my 1200LT, before my spyder- agree with red rt, but i have to add, be prepared for cool wet weather, we were there 3 days and the high was 57F. some said it was the coldest-wettest summer in 20 years. hope your trip is much better...

Am I going to regret this ?

I bought my rt last sept. I still have BMW LT. But it doesn't see a lot of road time since I got the rt. My wife is 4'10" and always suggests to take the spyder instead of the BMW. And she is the one who would not let me trade the BMW, her remarks were,"if you want you can have both but you...

RoadRunner Spyder Review (trip from last year)

I think that any review not done by a spyder owner will be lacking the passion we have for these machines. They are so different from motorcycles, yet non enthusiats still compare the two. Its still nice to see the spyder get some magazine space. Most will never know the thrill you can get from...

    delphi innovations

back a few weeks ago when delphi came on as a sponsor, they posted if anyone had an idea to submit it to them. i submited an idea and i did get a response from them, they wanted some details i couldn't give them. maybe someone here can(or possibly it is a bad idea). i suggested a oil filter...

    Welcome Pack

bought my rt first week of sept, '12. it took about 3 months almost to the day i received my pack. i did not register on brp website. seems like brp waits until they have a lot to send out- and sends a whole bunch i one shot. or perhaps they have to wait for a supplier to fill their order...
