• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FWIW, I had a DPS error come on a few weeks back, restarted the bike then it was gone, as soon as I turned the wheels it came back and power steering was lost, I had several repetitions over a couple of days, then it came on hard. So the Spyder has been back with the AD for 2 weeks now...

    Anyone know what the 'Load Sheeding' circuit/system does?

    I was thinking about that but I do have a twin horn unit here that is much louder than stock (about 130db) and it only draws 8 amps (only.. HAH!), so if the stock horn is only a couple either side it'll save a whole lot of messing about with additional wiring. Trying to find the easier route...

    I'm looking to get rid of the stock 'pansy' horn with something a bit more appropriate, however, the horn shares a fuse with the 'Load Shedding' thingummy. Anyone know what it does or what it's load is so I don't overburden the fuse? Cheers all.

    How to remove lettering

    Hair dryer does the trick, just whipped mine off yesterday, doesn't take excessive amounts of heat neither. Gentle heat then just pry them off with your fingernails. :2thumbs:
