• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

They found oil in the air box, but could not explain why. I saw the fixes suggested here but decided to let the dealer handle it since I have the...

Air Box Oil anyone tried this?

Did anybody have it fixed at a dealer? Seems like that would be the safest way to go for the warranty and stuff.. mine is in for it right now, will see what they say tomorrow. 2008 SE5 2200 miles

    Oil Leak

Just hit 2200 miles on my SE5 and started to notice some oil on the garage floor. Took the bike to my dealer, they removed air box cover, cleaned exessive oil and purged overflow line. Still leaking. Saw Lamonster's fix, and I don't think I can do it on my own. Anybody else dealt with this?

    SE5 Transmission Won't Downshift

Make sure that you are COMPLETLY off the throttle when coming to a stop, it should start downshifting as RPMs drop. If this does not happen have dealer replace transmission control module under warranty.

    FINANCING THE SPYDER

If your credit is good, look for checks from your credit cards in the mail. They send me pretty good offers on cash advances. I have seen 5.9% fr the life of the loan. They might charge a transaction fee of 3 % with about $150 max, but you can negotiate with them to waive it. Sometimes they...
