• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 Vibration

wippieing the belt... Since I am in Germany, just like Wippie, I can attest to the fact that my F#, now 2000 km, also has the vibrations, and exactly at the same speeds, 80/85 miled per hour, no matter what gear. so its the belt for sure. while cruising it does not bother me much, but I do go...

    F3 with Saddlebags/Frackle Question?

bags... for now, I mounted 2 17ltr each soft textile bags. they connect via 3 velcro straps over the passenger seat, under the passengers butt. the butt that rides on that seat in my case says its no hindrance. To be on the safe side, I mounted 2 delrin plates underneath, which I bolted to the...

    how to jack-up F3...

first thanks... for the reply. The question was specific for the F3,which has no center rail frame ,the way I see it. I had no problem with the ST. The way I read your post, I should jack up from under the swing arm/rear shock? thanks, Peter

well wippie now that I am approching 70 real quickly, I have to say I agree with you. But, a lack of craftsmanship will always drive an engineer or good mechanic up a wall, no matter how old he/she is! btw, where do you teach, and what field, if I may ask? regards ,Peter

my F3 is 2 weeks old... as far as the vibs go, no comparison with the st ltd. I can only feel it in a very narrow range, not bothersome at all. I do agree however on the x screen, I took it over from my semi-retired Deauville ( Honda NT 650) . works great. THAT BRP HAD TO STOOP TO LETTING THE...
