• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Those Damn Grommets.

I feel lucky. When I had my Spyder in for the 600 mile checkup, the tech noticed there were two missing. They didn't have any in stock, so he took them off of a floor model so I wouldn't be without. He placed an order for some more and the next time I was there, he gave me two of each... FREE...

Thanks for setting the ryde up! It was nice seeing you again and it was great getting to know all the others. :congrats: I think you're right about maybe saving the Charleston trip for July when I'm sure we will need a break from the heat. :agree: As far as Willow Beach is concerned, as long as...

Wearing hearing aids with a helmet...

Sorry I can't help, but years ago I remember my mother in law asking my father in law why he had a supository in his ear. His response was, " I'm not sure, but now I think I know where my hearing aid is!" :shemademe_smilie:

    Purchasing a new RTS

First of all, welcome. There is so much information available for Spyder owners here, that sometimes I find myself reading too much and riding too little. Like you, I checked out the RS and found the posture not to my liking. The salesperson I spoke with said I could modify an RS to make it more...

    Learn from my mistake

I think that I had the same problem if I understand you correctly. What I did was arrange the bracket and bolts so that pressure on the peg would actually tighten the bolt. And on the other side you have to install the bolt the other way so that pressure on the peg will act to tighten the bolt...

    Learn from my mistake

I recently purchased the highway brackets with adapters and Kuryakyn ISO pegs from KewlMetal. On my first ride with the pegs installed, I lost my left peg. At first, I thought it was a bolt that had loosened that I installed, :opps: but after looking closer I found that the peg itself had come...

    Recall 2010 Rt clutch issue

My RT has done the same thing you describe 3 times before my 600 mile checkup. I mentioned it when I brought it in and the dealer was not aware of any recall. I don't know if they did anything to remedy the problem, but it hasn't happened since. I now have about 1000 miles on the RT. :dontknow:

    Rider comfort

Hi Mike, I have an RT and have issues with my aging knees over long periods. I purchased the highway brackets along with pegs from Kewl Metal. While I am currently having issues with the pegs that I purchased, they seemed to have done the trick. No more sore knees after extended trips. Good...

    License to ride.

Is it or isn't it. Nevada law states that if the vehicle has one drive wheel, it's considered a motorcyle. More than one drive wheel and it's not a motorcycle. Strange, considering that a three wheel HD or Honda is not a motorcycle.welcome
