• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dealer in Henderson Nv.

Proshop in Henderson I have nothing but good things to say about everyone at Proshop in Henderson. They do something that to me seems very simple... treat their customers the way they would like to be treated.:firstplace: That doesn't seem to be the norm in this world, sadly enough.

    Question for the desert dwellers

Heat Have had mine for going on two years and never had a problem. Fred Rau traveled through Death Valley a while back and let his RT sit and idle for quite some time in the heat and experienced no problem as well.:chill:

    Albuquerque/Santa Fe Ryders - a question.

Just got back Just got back from Albuquerque and took the trip to Santa Fe and on our way back took the Turqoise Trail. We were in a car, but I think you would enjoy the trip on the Spyder. Next time we go out there, we will definitely do it on the Spyder.

    200 Miles to DMV

:congrats:Chris, I feel your pain. Just renewed mine and it wasn't much less the second year. I was surprised when I saw that you got the RT. I'm sure you will like the comfort factor much more than the RS.:ohyea: Hope to get together with you again sometime for a ride. Fred

    Digital display goes away

I checked that out before I wrote the thread and none of those symptoms matched the ones I was having with my Spyder and as I said; the dealer had not heard of those issues with any other bike or from BRP.

    Digital display goes away

After riding my RT for even short periods and restarting, my digital display does not come back on. Sometimes I have to push the Mode button to restart it, but sometimes it will just restart without pushing the Mode button. Sometimes the display will come back on by itself and other times it...

Like to join Las Vegas chapter

welcome :agree: with Ken. The Spyder is the ONLY way to go. I rode two wheelers 30 years ago and enjoyed it very much. However, it's 30 years later and while I thoroughly enjoy riding, I can do so without the worry of laying the bike down (I'm really not into pain). Along with the semi-automatic...

las vegas ryde for june 12th

Thanks Ken. Linda and I had a great time. She was especially impressed with how friendly everyone was and wanted to know when the next ryde would be. Another benefit was she thinks she'll just ride with me instead of riding hers the next time. :ohyea:

A big thanks to you all and BRP

Thank you, Lamonster for giving us all a place to come together. This site has made owning a Spyder a way of life where we all feel like family and can share our good experiences as well as our bad ones. For me, it's made owning a Spyder so much more that just owning a bike. I feel like I have...

    Finally found replacement Gauges

Tapping the 1/8 tee to 10 mm is exactly what I was thinking to do. Don't know yet if there is enough metal to make a good seal, but I think it's worth a shot. Plan B would be to find a sending switch with 1/8 threads.

    Finally found replacement Gauges

As always, Lamonster is right. :bowdown:I have noticed a tiny leak in the fittings for the oil pressure sending unit. My question now is, where do I find a 10mm about 1 inch long nipple and tee fitting with two 10mm opennings and one 1/8 openning?:dontknow:
