• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    This change is what I am considering as well.My wife and I think the spyder has a smother ride on the interstate .On a rough 2 lane state Rt.I give the ride to the goldwing,but the spyder still was good.I think the spyder has some advantages over the wing,but it still hard to give up the wing.

    What is it like to ride a spyder. In the rain?Do they have good rain protection so you don't get wet?I ride a goldwing now and it does a decent job of keeping the rain off of me as long as I am moving .I had a HD ultra and I think it picked up extra water and threw it on me.I got real wet fast.

    Flat tire ?

    Has anyone had a flat tire at speed? Did it end well?I have had a flat tire on the goldwing,but the low tire indicated came on and I was able to get off the road before it lost all the air.

    Test ride today

    I also took a test ride today.I had the chance to ride a twisty road and a interstate.I am still on the fence about the spyder.I ride a goldwing but am having some back problems that may force me to 3 wheels.

    I have not bought a spyder yet.This was just a test ride.It was way to short,for me to decide if this is what I want to do. Has anyone had a flat tire at speed on a spyder?How did that go?I would think it would be better than having a flat with only 2 wheels.

    I guess I failed to mention the one I road was a 2011 RTS.They are asking Around 17500 for it.The owner traded it for a new 2014 and bought a trailer to match.They priced me a new 2013 limited ,that is a left over,but the price was to close to the 2014 for me to think about that.
