• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    LOVE MY SPYDER...BUT...

My wife has had two Boss Hoss trikes. I think the are easier to steer than the Spyder. Heat was the big issue for my wife. The trikes seem to hold more heat than the two wheelers. I have had a few of the two wheelers and did not notice the heat as much. The trikes are set up soft as far as...

How do we know which update/version our Spyders are running?

If you call your dealer with the vin# they should be able to get the read out of all the recalls and tunes done. When I bought a used one I went to the dealer and he was able to print out everything that was done. This was not the dealer who had done the work but it is listed with your vin# Bill

1st Annual Indiana Chapter Spyderlovers Meet, Greet & Ryde

I think 450 out of Bedford is one of the best roads in the state. At Shoals you could go west about 20 miles and eat at Montgomery at the Amish restaurant or take 150 to French Lick and eat at the Winery. Bill

Chicago April 26-27 .. Which Route Home?

Sam. Another consideration is Southern Indiana into Kentucky and the Tenn. All three state have some really great riding. The Mississippi route from LaCrosse or even Praire du Chien if you did not want to go as far north as LaCrosse is a great route as stated before. Have a great trip Bill

How long should I have to wait

The dealer is in Indy. The first owners friend was the mechanic at the Can-Am dealership where he bought the Spyder. His friend told him that because of the issues with the recall he would not suggest doing it at this time. They did do a number of other things under warranty such as brakes and...

How long should I have to wait

I bought a used 08 Spyder that did not have any updates done. After reading about the problems with these it was a good thing. Now it seems most problems are sorted out so I went to my local dear and asked about getting these done. He said he would have to order parts because the second update...

It's ready. Wait, not ready. OK, it's ready

When I brought my used 08 home from Ga it had about an inch of bugs. I took it to the local wash bay and when I started it aftrwards I had all kinds of codes and it didn't want to run. After it dried it was fine. I thought I was being careful where I sprayed but still had issues. Only hand...

Fly and Ride part 2, long

As Scott said the bike is great. The problems I have had I think are mostly self induced. When I use a power washer I try not to get any vitals but after my trip the bugs were about an inch thick. I have not had a chance to ride it much this week because of rain and getting our other bikes ready...

    Fly and Ride

Thanks Everyone, Really ready to do this. In my younger years I raced go karts for alot of years and the steering reminds me of that. Got to ride some curves on a test ride but no highway speeds. NewRider, we want to go to the Ice Cream Social if schedule allows. My wife has a Goldwing trike...

    Fly and Ride

Buying an 08 SM5 off this site and am flying down to Atlanta Sat to pick it up and ride back to Indiana. Everyone says it takes about 100 or 200 miles to get used to it so I figure about 1/3 of the way back I will be in fat city. Have ridden other trikes before but I know this will be different...
