• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gold vs platinium Couldn't some explain the dealer ratings. I have seen both gold platinum rated listings. Is it rated to customer satisfaction or sales numbers? thanks

    Fire Proofed my 2011 RRS

Timely post I ordered that and picked up a roll of thermal reflective tape today from O'reilly. Plan to install during the heavy rain this weekend.

    Survived the $th

Not the best 4th I have ever had. Storms moving through and ended up with a tree falling across the roof of my grandsons bedroom. Nothing like being awakened by water and tree limbs coming thru the ceiling. Fastest I have ever seen that boy get out of bed. Tree fell across the power line and...

    Dealer Experience

Had my 3000 mile service yesterday at Polaris America in Statesboro and thought I would post about the experience. I got there twenty minutes before opening. They were still setting up for the day, but, the mechanic took it on in and got started. Did the intake paperwork which reminded me of...

    HF Lift Table Mods

Finished mods to my HF table this afternoon. As always, what the mechanically inclined could have done in two hours took me all weekend and three trips to Lowe's. Hope the pics are legible. As you can see I don't have a lot of room to work with. The garage is actually an old carriage house...

    Traveling Secret Lab

Spent another day watching Doc perform his magic. The no photo zone travels with the lab when he is making house calls. He worked under the most difficult circumstances I was able to arrange. Hot, humid spring day in South Georgia and being closely observed by the cats. Not to mention, one cat...

Another Awesome Day at the Secret Lab

Spent yesterday observing a master technician in action. Doc Riverside did the serious work and allowed me to drill a couple of minor holes. The guy is a perfectionist with fabrication skills. Mods now include Magic flex LEDs, amber brightsides, and LEDS in the front mudflaps. Still in the box...

Temp I noticed cooler temps on the analog guage today also.

    Improving MPG

Bump skin I think it helped, but not the full increase. Probably having a passenger reduces drag off the trunk too.

    Improving MPG

2012 RT-S with 2100 miles on it since purchase six weeks ago. MPG started at 24. Todays' fill up yielded 31.4 MPG, mostly riding double at about 65-70 MPH. Only mods have been BajaRon swaybar and a bump skid. Custom Dynamics parts arrived yesterday so the farkling can begin in earnest. Getting...

Anyone think it possible to put an Aux Fuel Tank in the trunk of an RT?

Mr. Orange Could you confirm what is in the pics you posted? I think they are of a modified RT gas cap. Did you drill through the handle for the fittings from the aux tank?

Anyone think it possible to put an Aux Fuel Tank in the trunk of an RT?

Thanks for the reminder. Best capacity for the weight is the frunk, so that will be the best choice.

Anyone think it possible to put an Aux Fuel Tank in the trunk of an RT?

Saw the set up from Mr. Orange and am very impressed. However, I have reservations regarding carrying the extra tank in front. Anyone think it possible to place a tank/fuel bladder in the trunk and use a simpler gravity feed system? I think using what appeared to be a modified gas cap would...
