• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Shock adjustment??

Setting the shocks As I am still new to the my RT I'll venture to ask a question that may have been answered long ago on Spyderlovers. I know you should adjust the front shocks with the wheels off the ground, but I am wondering how most of you raise the front off the ground. Looking underneath...

    Valve Stems

I don't have the answer yet. I sent an email to the website, but no answer, so far. I would think they can be installed in the original hole (position?) in the rim. As for the clearance problems, IMHO that should be no problem, either.

    Valve Stems

This is the same place where I ordered stems for my Burgman650. They do make a fine product! I just didn't look there this time, since the OEM rear stem on the Spyder doesn't look much like valve stems I am used to seeing, I wondered if they were a "special" size. I don't remember seeing them on...

Help. My Dealer is trying to kill me (smile)

Dealers (Stealers?) The worst thing I have discovered since I got a Spyder is::yikes: Dealers are making lots of money with the prices they charge for what should be just normal maintenance, And this is made even worse by the fact that many of them seem to have untrained or inexperienced...

    Valve Stems

:helpsmilie: Has anyone here tried using the aluminum 90 degree (some are 84 degrees) valve stems as replacements for the Spyder's...especially the rear one! :banghead: If so, can you share if there are any available to fit the Spyder tires and where you purchased them? They work great on many...

    Front Fork Adjustments

I am aware that the front end needs to be lifted off the ground while adjusting the front shocks, but I still haven't read where the jack should be placed. I look under my 2011 RT and don't really see any place that looks strong enough to lift the weight. Pictures would be a big help, if anyone...

    Spyder Mechanic

Finding a "great mechanic" Does this mean I have to go to Canada to find a great mechanic?? :yikes: Anyone know one in Florida? Preferably not more then 100 miles from Lake Placid, FL.

    600 Mile Check

600 Mile Check Up After reading the Posts on this subject and even more on another on Spyderlovers, regarding the 600 mile "Break-in Inspection" I am wondering what seems to be wrong with the prices many Dealers are charging for that. I am aware that we owners need to have a Dealer do this, so...

    SPYDER LICENSING

Hmmm...Maybe this would explain why the 2011 RT I bought (quoted to me as Brand New with "0" miles on it) turned out to have 123 miles on the odo when I arrived to buy it. Well, I thought the price was still good, so we bought it anyway, even after the Salesman told us in person when we arrived...

    Attention all florida spyder Riders

Lake Placid FL Cycle Champ here: I live in Lake Placid and I'm a new Spyder owner. I am looking forward to meeting all that show up. I do have one concern, though. Golden Corral doesn't have a huge parking lot and with the Snow Birds here, I'm sure there will be a lot of 4 wheelers there...

    Attention all florida spyder Riders

Lake Placid Still as new to the Forum and how it works as I am to my new Spyder. Both still "strange" to me. Since I live in Lake Placid, I will have the shortest ride to the meeting place. Hope to see and meet many fellow Spyder folks. I didn't realize how many there were. Wonder why the word...

    In Southeast Florida

Newbie in Lake Placid My wife and I just purchased our new 2011 RT from Central Florida PowerSports in Kissimmee last week. I wisely (IMHO) chose to have them deliver it, because once I saw what a different anilmal it was, compared to my former rides, I had no desire to herd it through the...
