• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil drain plug torque values?

If you are a cheese maker then get the torque values and a real good driver, if not snug up tight and have no issue. The lefty loosey and righty tighty brigade usually has to over think what is next alot of times.

    Immobolize a Spyder?

Good thoughts so far. Storage will not workto far away. We already have two vehicles in front of it at night and full cover. Insurance is good but you always never get back your investment. Sure immobilize works but just the thought of ignition mess up hurts my head. Keep them coming,I know...

    Immobolize a Spyder?

A question to the masses, I do not have a garage to safely keep my Spyder hidden away. I need to make it safe in a driveway. Has anybody found a great method so the bike cannot be moved without great difficulty. Granted anything can be stolen if enough grunt work is put into it. So hit me up...

Oil Plug head broke off on 1330 F3.

Great you got itout. A center punch on the edge would have done it also. Small taps and out she would come enough to grab with vise grips. Lots of over thinking going on here!

    Oil Extraction.

Bob you are right but the pain of getting to the drains everytime is daunting all the time. Filler plug out, extractor in, a few pumps and warm oil in sump flows. Replace with same amount extracted. Filters next time around. Now the old oil debate... which BRP, Motol, Shell Rotella or Mobil 1...

    Oil Extraction.

Seeing that it is a dry sump motor seems to be a no brainer every other time for when the filters are changed out then.

    Oil Extraction.

Coming from a boating situation, has anybody done oil extraction by suction on a 998. If done every other oil change would greatly keep the down time to a minimum. Thoughts and if anyone has tried it please give imput. Thanks
