• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Laser Alignment Today

Did all highway to SC, the alignment did make a difference, no more lane wandering. After riding some good roads in SC, NC & GA so far, it's obvious I need a stiffer sway bar. Too much body lean coming into corners regardless of front tire pressure. Ran 27 and 22, more lean at 22 as you'd...

    Canyon Carvers ?

For you canyon carvers, what tire pressure are you running? I ran down Rt 64 and 178 yesterday from Chimney Rock to Table Rock, the rear tire would slide as I pushed some of the corners.

    Laser Alignment Today

Not clear the details of the new version but the service guys said it took a little longer because it was their first using the new method and needed time to read the instructions. They told me they've done 6 or 7 using the previous method. We're off to PA tomorrow reaching our destination of...

    Laser Alignment Today

Had a laser alignment done today on my '14 RTL, they told me the alignment needed significant correction. I was able to watch the process (the new version) fascinating, two guys approx. 1.5 hours. I can honestly say I didn't see a lot of improvement in the overall handling on the ride home...

    12 Volt Trunk Accessory Plug

Check your pump it will tell you the voltage and amp rating, mine is 15 amp so given the gauge of the wire I installed a 20 amp.

    12 Volt Trunk Accessory Plug

I'm using a Slime Tire Inflator that came with a cigarette lighter plug with a fuse within the plug. I cut it off and soldered in an SAE plug, so the SAE harness I made today that I attached directly to the battery needed a fuse to protect the compressor. So my advise if your going to use the...

    RT Vibration

Thinking the same thing about a belt tension check by the dealer. Just so happens I'm getting a laser alignment on Saturday before the big trip south, I'll ask them to check it then. Thanks all!

Thanks guys! Bought myself an SAE connector, an in-line fuse, some wire and built my own harness then attached it directly to the battery terminals.

    RT Vibration

So I'm working out the kinks of my new RT (first time Spyder owner), I finding vibration on the highway around 3800 to 4100 rpm. I'm also noting most of the vibration comes while gently decelerating from say 75 to 70. I took the advice from members on this board and installed a Smoothspyder...

    12 Volt Trunk Accessory Plug

If I read the Operators Guide correctly, the 12 volt plug in the trunk of my '14 RT has a 5 amp fuse. I was thinking about using it to power my air compressor should I get a flat, the compressor is 12 volt 15 amp. So that tells me this outlet is off limits. Back in the old days we'd simply...

So should not care about the psi as measured at the valve?

    PSI in rear shocks

The pressure label seems to be general advice for the manual suspension does the same apply for the remote system? The manual indicates the on board pump increases/decreases the pressure depending on setting but I would think some about of minimum pressure would need to be set? I have the...

    Side Panels

Has anyone else experienced loosing a side panel, in particular the left side panel? Mine flew off yesterday on the highway. Thinking once I replace it I'll try using a zip tie not only to hold the grommet in place but possibly it will provide more resistance on the panel push pin in the grommet.

    Rubber Gromets..

While riding my '14 RT Limited home on the highway today my left side panel blew off and was promptly crushed by the car in the lane left of me, WTF? After getting home I checked the 3 rubber grommets they were in place and not puckered. Something tells me it's going to be expensive tomorrow at...

    CB Radio Issues 2014 RT?

Hey Mike, I had a CB installed in our new 2014 RT Limited, used it a number of times, all is well so far.....I think. I do know the CB Radio is on backorder from Can-Am with no ETA as of this morning. I am having issues either with the front entertainment harness/connector where we plug in the...
