• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    First long trip

Thanks for all the tips so far. I'll be taking this trip in May so I don't think cold is going to be a big factor. Rain could be a real issue. I'm researching good rain suits. I plan on this being the first of many long trips so I want to get good gear. Scott (Grumps)

    First long trip

I live in north eastern Kansas not to far from Kansas City. In may I plan to do a ride all the way to New Jersey. Visiting some old Navy buddies. Any suggestions as what to take and things I may want to see along the way. Maybe routes I should ride or whatever. Any thing would be helpful. Thanks...

    CAT DELETE

Thanks. This was what I figured but wanted to check. I think I'll spend that money for something that will improve the ride and not just the sound. I don't care about that much. Scott

    CAT DELETE

I have a 2014 RT-S. Is there a reason to do the cat delete since there is not a heat issue? Is there a power increase? Does it drop the weight much? Is it mostly for a better sound? I'm sure this has been gone over many times so once more couldn't hurt right?! Scott

    The new 2016 RT?

I love my 2014 RT-S. I don't see a reason to change things. If it isn't broke then don't fix it. I do wish they'd bring the 622 trailer back. I want all that storage space. Scott

I live in Kansas and it's gotten into the 60's the last few days. Have put close to 300 miles. It isn't a lot but it sure felt amazing to get out and not be freezing. Scott

    Rear Audio Control

Also it seems that the heated grips on the rear does not heat near as hot as on my 2012. I currently have a 2014 RT. Maybe it's just to cold to notice. Scott

    Cat bypass

I have looked on YouTube. I didn't find anything. I don't have a way raising my RT. So maybe having my dealer do the work is the way to go. Scott

    New helmet

The wife and I would like some new helmets. We got a couple cheap full face ones the day we bought our first spyder. 3 years later we are ready for something better. Do most people have two helmets? One for hot weather and one for the rest of the time or just one for year round? Let me know your...

    Might be time to upgrade

I wanted to thank everyone for there input. Got my new 2014 a few weeks ago. It's a RT-S in cognac. It is all you said it would be. I got it from Pitbull and it's such a nice ride. I've only put around 200 miles on it but I'll be adding many more. Again thanks for all the info. Scott

    Bought the Demo Model

I have the tall boy with the back rest. Wife is 5'2 and. 115lbs and she has plenty of room. The back rest made a huge difference for me for longer rides and just around town. Scott

    Bought the Demo Model

I got my 2014 three weeks ago. It's been cold so I've only put around 200 miles in it but I love it. I had a 2012 before and this is a far better ride. Glad you are enjoying your Spyder. Scott

What was your Spyder Mileage for 2014 - now for 2023???

I think I meet you and your wife while I was there. I think you were waiting for Lamont to laser align yours while mine was being done. Did you get some arm rests put on for your wife? Scott

What was your Spyder Mileage for 2014 - now for 2023???

My second Spyder but first one from them. They gave me a great deal on my trade in and on a few upgrades. I love the smooth power and handling of the 14. I can't wait for a little warmer weather. Should be able to get it out the 1st for some seat time. Scott
