• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Need info on tires please

Hoo boy. I was beginning to feel all alone. Personally I don't like to own something I can't fix. This computer on wheels may be a first for me. However, I did have the Ford dealer replace the injector wiring harness on my Excursion when I found out how many hours it was going to take a good...

    Need info on tires please

I have a life time supply of Rie On. I am going to try that. It works on my DL650 and other bikes. I just need to calculate how much I need for that rear tire. I might even try to Static balance it before I put the Ride On in it. I wonder if one of those balancers that are supported on a...

    This has happened three times

I have had similar reactions from people when I told them how much my URAL Gear Up cost. ($16,000). One thing nice about the URAL is that you can fix it with a hammer. As far as my 2014 RTS SE6 cost, I am a piker. I paid $18,000 used with 4K miles on it. It looks like it will take a tech...

    Couple more questions ....

I have a "barn full " of 2 wheelers (WR250r is my favorite). I live 1 mile down a dirt road from my front gate and when it rains for a week the only vehicle that will get me to work is Hulda, my URAL Gear Up in 2 wheel drive. The "transition" to the Spyder RTS was seamless. I am 78 years old...

    Battery tender suggestions

Deltran battery tender. I have several. I have one that does little 12 volt, larger 12 volt, and 6 volt batteries. I even have one that is for lithium batteries. Never a problem. If you let the battery get too low they won't charge. I had that happen once when I left the key on on my...

Martha and I will be coming up from Eagle Pass on the 13th to get our packets and then we will go on to our house on 783 out of Kerrville and "commuting" on the 14th and 15th. Is there a PDF of the suggested routes? I have ridden most of those roads on my bicycle and on various motorcycles...

    Trunk Liners

I use the Hopnel bags and they are a lot of bang for the buck. My only gripe is the one that goes in the frunk pulls off the weather seal every time it comes out. I have a gasket coming from Spiderpops that should cure that.

    Helmets

I am on my second Shoei Hornet. I destroyed the first one colliding with an Asian Black Buck on may 9th this year that was hidden in the grass and jumped right in front of me. I went over the handle bars and struck the pavement at about 60mph head first with enough force to crack my left eye...

    installing seat

I just finished installing the Show Chrome passenger arm rests. First I removed the passenger back rest. Then I stuffed rags into all of the black holes under the whole seat. I then disconnected the seat end of the gas strut. I removed the bolts that the seat hinges on. After installing...

    Driver to Passenger Audio

Boy, that's the truth. We got the Scala team set and have not been able to get it to work right. I have almost memorized the manual and I am still having trouble. Either there is a very steep learning curve or I am extraordinarily stupid. My wife suspects the latter. :banghead:

Is it OK to Air up tires from the valve under the seat on an RT-S?

In the interest of saving time a good Mountain Morph bicycle pump would be a better choice. I carry a nice little 12 volt pump I just plug in.
