• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Luggage For Frunk

I use Hopnel bags in the side cases on my RT and a Bestem bag shaped like the Frunk in the Frunk. Quite economical. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Can-Am-Spyder-RT-RS-Front-Case-Trunk-Liner-Bag-Black-/131381642607?hash=item1e96f4c56f:g:NhIAAOSwnDxUiz3y&vxp=mtr Jerry

I can relate to this! You?

Many years ago I had my little shop in our one car garage. I was doing something on my drill press and without stepping out of my tracks I put the chuck key down. A few minutes later I needed it again and could not find it again. I had to go buy another one. Two years later I was packing up...

    Clutch Shocker!

I don't know how I am going to handle any "repairs" on my new, to me, 2014 RTS SE6. I bought it with the extended warranty. I have always done all of my own "fixing". The only "warranty" work I have had done, and it was a recall, was replacement of the stator on my 2013 wr250r. My personal...

Don't remove those security torx screws. They hold the posts that go into the rubber grommets that hold the panel on. Jerry

    Keep dry on your bike...

I had something like that that I wore ONCE on my bicycle. Might have been of some use as a spinnaker. With a head wind it functioned as a drag chute. Jerry

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

I should make it to 79 in a few more months if I don't hit another large animal. I love our 2014 RTS SE6.

How many Spyders have you owned.....

On 5/9/16 I smashed into an Asian Black Buck on my Suzuki TU250X at about 60 mph. Suffered 8 broken ribs, a brain bleed, broken eye socket, lacerated scalp when the helmet tore off, lacerated knee, lacerated spleen, bad burn on left fore arm from mesh jacket scraping on the pavement and a...

A fun time installing my BajaRon sway bar and links

Today it was misting so I decided to install my BajaRon sway bar and links on my 2014 RT. I pondered ways to lift it and decided that the best way forward was to drive it over the pit that we use to service our other vehicles. This was a brilliant idea until we noticed that the bar was hitting...

Taming the wild passenger arm rests......

I installed the Show Chrome passenger arm rests on my 2014 RTS SE6. I had trouble setting the tension so the arm rests wouldn't swing in the breeze. My first wife was complaining that she was afraid I was going to eject her on one of the "three sisters". I think I solved the problem. I...
