• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FOBO Setting information

Your story is a classic example of someone in one state that is warm riding into another state that has a cool morning and that alert is going off the next day. And sounds like you were getting notice through the wall of the motel room too! In this cold weather it keeps dropping for every 10...

    FOBO Setting information

Are you one of those using FOBO Bike on your bike? Are you experiencing the RED box and constant alerts during this colder climate? Originally the settings were a default when setting up that were set with 5 psi for the MIN/MAZ from the baseline. Since then updates to the APP now allow one to...

    Bluetooth Receiver F3T Problems

I charged it in the house overnight. For in the future, using it while riding puts power/charge on it, but it if sits a few days does it lose it's charge? How long to charge it on USB charge? Buckskin

    Bluetooth Receiver F3T Problems

That is what I was looking for. Lamont's video does not mention toggling from Radio to USB input setting. I will look into that. Thanks for the tip. Buckskin

    F3T Patriotic

Finally got all the graphics installed on my 2016 F3T. That laying on of the graphics is pretty tedious and took some time getting it all done and laid down without any wrinkles. The compound curves had me worried, but they came out alright. Hope you like the thyme. Buckskin

    Bluetooth Receiver F3T Problems

I have installed the Bluetooth Receiver and watched Lamont's video of same over and over. I have the USB plugged into the bottom and the 2.5mm plugged into the top. I have the unit "paired" and shows in my settings to be connected. I turn on the key switch and open music on the phone and hit...

    Heated gear connection on F3T

Tom, been to the warming store and already ordered that port mount. I'm going to try to see if it will fit in that hole that is now for the heated grips, if not, will find a flat panel area and mount it there. Buckskin Will post some pictures when I get it done.

Adjusting Shock Preload on a Stock Spyder F3-T - Is Spring Compression Necessary?

Ok, so I'm wondering how you got the dealer to go to that trouble to adjust the shocks? Seems it's a personal adjustment and like the one who started this thread he wants to loosen his for a soften the ride. Hadn't thought about using a cold chisel to break that lock nut loose. Seems one could...

    Heated gear connection on F3T

Next to the key on the left there is a hole with a plug in there now. I have seen some kind of covered connector that will fit right in that hole. Where can I find this plug? What are others using? Buckskin

Adjusting Shock Preload on a Stock Spyder F3-T - Is Spring Compression Necessary?

I see you're not getting much play here. I'm just the opposite, I have the spanner and want to add some preload to make the ride a bit firmer and rock solid. I don't think many here are thinking about making adjustments to the suspension. Yes, many are installing the high dollar shocks, but...

Very nice Doc! Mines a '16 F3T, but most likely it's the same. Buckskin

    F3T front grill removal

That's what I was hoping. Will take a flashlight and look around for the fasteners and see if that gets them all. Buckskin

    Jacking points for the F3

Chet, I got the part about the jack stand under the lower A arms, but where did you place the floor jack to lift the front end? Did you lift the whole front end or one side at a time? I am going to adjust my shocks on the F3T and need to relieve the pressure on the shocks and most likely have to...

    F3T front grill removal

Anyone had a chance to remove the front grill in the F3T. I am thinking about doing some mods and thought it would be easier if the grill was removed. Hopefully it will be a few easily accessed screws and out it comes? Buckskin

    Belt Tensioner noise...

Firefly, I listened to that video, and that is a nasty noise. I would lift the rear wheel off the ground (chock the fronts) and run the bike with the wheel off the ground. Take a long screwdriver or something and put it on the axle bolt and your ear. Place it around the rear and then move up...

    Front tire cupping

Most likely you had the stock Kendra tires? Replace with an aftermarket tire. Run tires at 20 psi. Firmer tires will give better tread wear. Lamont has Centramatic wheel balancers and FOBO Trike TPMS so you can see/maintain proper tire pressure. Tire pressure and balancer are critical when...

F3T front shock spanner wrench set

Ok, the end to end measurement is 16.5" and the manual suggests the wheels is removed for clarity which also suggest that the load is off the shock. That being said, no load the shock is full extension and so I what the measurement taken with no load to be 16.5. Your suggestion to lift the...

F3T front shock spanner wrench set

Well, I have the 68mm spanner wrench heading my way. Here's what I found in the owners manual when looking up how to adjust the front suspension. "Adjusting Suspension Front Suspension See a Can-Am dealer for front suspension adjustment. Wow! So while dialing in the front...

    Belt Tensioner noise...

I was going to take you up on the kit that would use BRP's adaptor with your pulley and arm, but I'm going to ask the question that a lot might be thinking. Would I be better served to go ahead and getting the full blown kit from you? I already took it it the shorts on the BRP unit and don't...
