• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Shouldering on

My hope is that the customer comes out the winner. The amount of money that has been spent and or lost on fixing known BRP design and engineering flaws right out of the box is unacceptable.

    Shouldering on

 Shoulder surgery went well.Torn labrum and bicep tendon... I still lurk on here although a Spyder doesn't appear to be in the cards. I hope the F3 is a big success. I see it as the foundation of a metamorphosis for the RT and ST platform. The NHTSA investigation will have a huge...

    Brake peddle

Hand brake The ISCI hand brake is a well made unit. I wish a hand brake were standard equipment on all Spyders. :D

    My curious pecadilloes

Left vs right turns It seems they talKed about that in the MFS course. It seems to me left turns are easier. It has to do with the placement of the clutch lever and the throttle. To this day I am impressed by those that ride a suicide shifter.

Suggestions For BRP Concerning Future Models

I would like to see a factory handbrake or at least make it a reasonably priced add on.

    F3 Bad Attitude

Are we still being teased? I got to looking at the pictures again. In the one with black and white panels, it looks to me like there is something more under the white panels. Am I dreaming?

Aussie student re-invents police motorcycle helmet

Forcite helmet The technology applied here is brilliant. As an observation though, a faceless policeman in a tinted lens helmet would be very intimidating when a moment of compassion may be needed in an emergency. Eye to eye contact can be reassuring. On the other hand a storm trooper...

    2015 Bare bones Spyder?

Forgive me if this has been discussed ad nauseam already, I 've been been kind of hit and miss on the forum lately. When Lamont had the forum open for speculation about the 2015 models, I was intrigued by a bare bones Spyder for ~ $10000. What do you suppose that would be? I would prefer...

Is the ST heat issue resolved with the 2014's?

Do we have enough owners and enough miles to give a report on the effect of the new panels? If the panels have been effective, that will be another plus. The 1330 2014 RT certainly appears to be a hit! Will the 2015 ST be a 1330 platform? I wonder how much 2013 inventory is still...

    Pitbull and Lamonster

Motley Crewe Get Animal from the Muppets as our drummer. We could perform at Spyderfest as the Geezers.:joke: My instructor is a graduate of Berklee school of Music. He's a perfectionist. I get major stage fright when I have to do a recital.

    Pitbull and Lamonster

I wish... It appears a Spyder is not going to happen for me, at least not at the present time. I have discussed with my wife buying a good used 2012 RTS, perhaps. On a separate note, I just bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio model. I've been taking lessons.

    Pitbull and Lamonster

I have been reading much on Facebook about Lamont's and Rickylen's new business venture. I can only speak as an observer, but I want heap praise on them for striving to make owning a Spyder a truly enjoyable experience.:firstplace: This is the way it should be.

RPMs, Eco Mode and Shifting on the 2014 RT

BRP action item Whoever tracks this from BRP needs to tighten up the specs on the chassis/ wheel/frame alignment procedure on the assembly line. The 2014 RT looks to be a winner. Correcting this issue at the factory level will achieve a higher level of quality in the finished product. This...

    Stolen Spyder in Ohio . . .

Glad it worked out for ya Rob, I'm sorry for your loss. At the same time I'm glad you were able to reach a settlement with the insurance agent. I'm including a picture of Eric Deuble, You and me taken a few years ago at A.S. K. on a Spyder Ryders night.
