• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FOBO Question

I've got a 2013 RTS and am planning on adding the FOBO TPMS. Is there enough clearance to mount the sensors on standard straight valve stems or do I need to go to 90 degree? This system doesn't mandate metal stems; I would prefer metal but would like to hold off until new tire time. Comments?

A number of our members from Central Kentucky Spyder Ryders are heading to Spyderfest in April from Lexington. We plan to ride most of the way on Tuesday April 25, and arrive before noon on the 26th, returning on Sunday. Planned route is Bluegrass Parkway to Western Kentucky to I24. If you...

Anyone ever had experience with one of these ?

The main draw for these is that on a 2 wheeler they follow the same track, and if you avoid an obstacle with the bike, so does the trailer, given the single track vs 3 tracks with a conventional trailer. Not much point for one of these with either a Spyder or conventional trike.

    Turned back

I'm 2 months and about 2K miles off a 2010 1700 Nomad. It's been a big adjustment on shift points for sure.

another company goes to the forward trike

FrankenTrike Looks very Frankenstein to me.....cobbled together. I went from a large cruiser to a Spyder because of the increased stability of the reverse layout, and most importantly because it's a clean sheet design and not a kit/conversion.

    SM6 vs SE6

I'm not a Spyder expert by any stretch, but I can make some comments about the transition from a bike as I'm about 2 months and 2K miles into the process. I traded my 2010 1700cc V-twin Kawa for a 2013 RT-S SM5 due to age, knees, etc. Also keep in mind that you are comparing an 1800-6 to a...

    myths and prejudices...

I'm with you. My ride was a 1700 Vulcan Nomad at 850 lbs, and I'm 66. With my knees it came down to the Spyder or say goodbye to riding. I miss the lean, especially on the high speed sweepers, but in gravel, heavy traffic, rain or making a U turn on a narrow 2 lane road I'm now like the...

    Road Warrior Edition F3 SOLD

it's not tax deductible. It's not a donation as you're getting something in return. If the purchase price is more than fair market value the overage would be deductible, but that is all.

Will the iPod/iPhone Connector let me play music from my phone?

Will the sound system on my 2013 RT-S integrate and play music from my phone as it will from a simple IPod? Would like to confirm before purchasing the adapter so it will fit the plugs on the newer phones. Thanks.

Questions Regarding RT Models Prior to Purchase

Thanks for all of the replies and advice. As it turns out I found a 2013 RT-S with only 4700 miles a couple of hundred miles away, and brought it home yesterday. Very clean and well kept. The heat recall is still outstanding and the local dealer ordered the necessary parts today. Obviously...

Questions Regarding RT Models Prior to Purchase

    >>The first year for the RT Ltd was in 2011, and they were all pearl white in colour so it cannot be a Ltd if it is a 2010 model year. It could be a Premier Edition. What colour is it? << It is solid black. For 2010 NADA only lists 3 RT models with standard transmission: RT SM5, RT SM5...

Questions Regarding RT Models Prior to Purchase

First time poster here. I’m a 66 yr old retiree and have gotten to the point where I need to exchange my 850 lb 1700cc touring bike for a three wheeler. I’m considering a 2010 RT with only 5200miles on it. The bike was taken in on trade at an independent dealer, not affiliated with Can Am ...
