• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I lost a Panel…

…and I’m really upset. For now, I'm going to ride without the other side on until my replacement come in. I was heading North on Route 17 (South of route 301) after leaving Norfolk Va. on Saturday just in case anyone is out that way and see a Pearl panel lying on the side on the road...

    LED HEAD LIGHTS

+1 for TricLED. I installed the head lights and it was P&P. I'm considering the fog light kit but you have to remove the frunk; the air intake duct is in the way.

    PDM60 Installation

I installed TRICLED LED Headlghts for the Spyder RT (which by the way was very straight forward) but during the process I decided to install the PDM60 that I had laying around. I installed the PDM60 under the left service panel (it was a flat area in that spot) using zip ties. The red positive...

TricLED F3 LED Headlights & Fog Lights

SpyRyd, thanks for providing installation pics. Does the steel wire come with the kit or you have to destroy and reuse the retention clip that was holding the OEM bulb in-place?

    LED headlight longevity/durability

I’m still hesitant with purchasing the TriLED’s because of the mechanical cooling. What drew my interest with their Headlight/Fog lights are their ease of application (plug & play) but my concern is with longevity.

To add to z_light11 question, what is the MTBF for the fan? If it fails, what type of damage could one expect?

    PDM60 and Powerlet

Thanks Fratz for the FYI I read through the FAQ also but that’s partially applicable in this case because it states, “...recommended for intermittent use only “. I plan to add additional Gerbing gear for next fall riding and I’m comfortable where I have my setting on the controller which, is...

    PDM60 and Powerlet

Thanks Vondalyn for the reply and good advice. I called Powerlet (good tech support) and was told the tolerance is in the heated gear not the socket but, the socket should be fine at 15.3 APMs. Additionally, he stated that in his experience, the APMs that are listed for heated gear is at max...
