• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can-Am Passenger Seat Bag - Worth the Money?

vtrider: THANKS! That's the way I have mine hooked up and it feels really secure. The only difference is that I have mine turned around the other way -- the wider side of the Cortech bag is facing my backrest. I just liked the looks of it this way. Thanks for your help!

Can-Am Passenger Seat Bag - Worth the Money?

As I posted earlier, I ordered a Cortech Sport Tail Bag from www.mymcgear.com on 5/3 and thought I was backordered. I received it today (Saturday, 5/9) via Fed Ex -- great service! The bag is extremely well made and looks great on my Spyder! I have a Corbin seat and I added a driver backrest...

    Gas Left

Yep, I agree -- about 2 gallons left. Happened to me this week -- had one bar left, and took about 4.7 gallons.

    This is just wrong

Oh how awful! So very sorry about your friend! I sure hope this stupid woman has PLENTY of time to do her stupid nails while she sits in prison! It just goes to show you -- always ride like you're INVISIBLE! Thanks for posting.

Can-Am Passenger Seat Bag - Worth the Money?

Go for the Corbin -- you'll love it! I read lots of posts on this website before ordering, and there are a million different opinions. Some hate the Corbin, some love the Corbin and the same goes for the Russell Day Long seat. I knew I needed to make a change and had heard lots of good...

    BIG MISTAKE

I had a Piaggio MP3 (to which we had just added a Tow-Pac trike kit) and my husband said I should test ride the Spyder, "just to see what it's like" -- I now have a Spyder and the MP3 has been sold!

Can-Am Passenger Seat Bag - Worth the Money?

I absolutely LOVE my Corbin seat! I had problems with the stock seat hitting my tailbone rather than the (ahem) fattier parts of my butt and sure got sore after riding a while. (the Princess and the pea syndrome!) NO problems at all with the Corbin -- butt soreness is a non-issue now. It...

Can-Am Passenger Seat Bag - Worth the Money?

I just ordered the Cortech Sport Tail Bag -- $54.99 + $6.99 shipping = $61.98 -- best price I found. Here's a link: http://www.mymcgear.com/browse.cfm/4,65466.hml?AFF=690MCG I just noticed the web page now says "out of stock. usually ships in 5-7 business days". I'm willing to wait...

    NMN Riser & Corbin installs

I have the Corbin seat, a nice backrest I got on eBay (for $80!), and the 4" NMN risers. I weigh about 114 lbs. I don't find the seat slippery at all and was surprised to hear this. I've only put a couple hundred miles on the new seat, but it's wonderful for me! I love my backrest too...

    Very pleased with Corbin

I absolutely LOVE my Corbin seat! LOVE IT! I had an awful problem with the stock seat. I felt like I was riding on my tailbone rather than my (ahem) more padded parts -- really tough on longer rides! My Corbin has solved that problem! The seat fits me like a glove! This is the first...

what is the dumbest question you have been asked

Does that thing turn?? I've seen 'em on the highway, but they're always going straight! I said, "NOPE, I just go straight with it!" (This was a guy asking me!) Another guy asked this one: How do you turn it? I said, "With the handlebars" :dontknow: I think people lose their senses...

    Mirror extensions

I needed them for sure! All I could see was my gloved fingers! My husband designed and fabricated mirror extensions for my Spyder (there's a thread on here somewhere), and they work great!

Question on Corbin Ovalbac Backrest, #02-SB

adaDude - Thanks again! I just bought a new backrest (Corbin look-alike) on eBay for $96 including the shipping! The auction said it'll fit any Corbin seat with a 5/8" rod. It may not be a "real" Corbin, but for the HUGE difference in price and for my purposes, it's PERFECT...

Question on Corbin Ovalbac Backrest, #02-SB

ataDude: Those typically are available used on eBay for about $100 if you need choices. Any Corbin backrest, regardless of the bike it's from, will fit.. they all utilize a lightly ground, 5/8" square bar for insertion into a seat. Thanks so much for the information...

Question on Corbin Ovalbac Backrest, #02-SB

Thanks! We got in a longer ride today and the seat is WONDERFUL!!!! We're not sure the backrest will need to be a little more forward or not. I sit right up against the rise with the Corbin seat, so the backrest might be fine as is. On the stock seat, I was about 2-3 INCHES away from the...
