• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I think I am at a croos roads

"If the speed limit is 60 mph and you approach someone from behind at 70mph, and he is going 50mph, do you have a valid argument for getting mad at him? Should he scramble to get out of your way? Remember, the key words here are "Speed Limit", not Speed Minimum. He is within his legal rights...

I think I am at a croos roads

I think it is interesting to hear people jump all over Edsts about this post because "he has no respect for his elders". Respect is a two way street and EVERYONE needs to remember that. There are a lot of "older riders" on here beating him down for his comment. Well, what makes you any better...

I think I am at a croos roads

I have been on rides that didn't move quite as swiftly as it should have too. Most of the Spyder riders that I have met are really nice people, but some just don't know riding etiquette from what I gather. I don't think the ride needs to go 80mph, but the speed limit and maybe a little over at...

How many came off a Goldwing, BMW or Harley dresser

It should look familiar... See how high the rear of it was designed to be lifted. I could only post 5 pictures so I picked the 5 better rides for the pictures. I traded the TL1000R for the Roadstar with airride, got it from a guy in New Jersey. Then traded the Roadstar to a guy in Columbus for...

How many came off a Goldwing, BMW or Harley dresser

I have had some cool rides over the past few years. I had a Kawasaki MeanStreak, 2003 Suzuki TL1000R 1000cc v-twin sport bike (I got ran off the road the first day I rode it by a women 3/4 the way in my lane on a curve), A custom 2001 Yamaha RoadStar w/ air ride, 2003 Yamaha Warrior, 2003 BMW...

    YOSHI / H.M. exhaust

We went for a nice ride yesterday and Coz led. The Yoshi exhaust actually sounds AWESOME! At normal riding speeds (speed limit) I could barely hear it. However when he got into the throttle It sounded like a dragstrip (in a good way). That pipe is probably the best sounding exhaust I've heard on...

Custom Dynamics charges a 20% restocking fee on returns - BEWARE

I ordered a Kaoko throttle assist for my 2013 RS from C.D.. It actually only fit up to a 2012 due to the 2013 going to fly-by-wire throttle. i called them explained that their catalog was wrong. They did some very quick research and found that I was correct. They paid for return shipping and...

    Custom Speakers by Hays

Thanks! As I said, I think they turned out pretty good for the first shot at designing them. There are a couple of things I would change looking back, but otherwise I'm happy with them. They sound pretty good even at 110 mph lol......:D

    modifications

You will not void the warranty by replacing the exhaust. The only way to void the warranty is to not have the Spyder serviced. If you replace a part with an aftermarket part the warranty will not cover that part (obviously). If you replace a part and it damages another part it will not be...

thinking of getting a 2013 rs need info ---- new to the spyder

They have work most of the bugs out of them now. The 2013 ST's (first year for the ST model) had a heat issue, where it was putting a little extra heat on the legs while riding in 80-90 degree weather. The RS's have been pretty trouble free. I have a 2013 RS and I noticed a little extra heat as...

    Add Cruise Control

I found that Kaoko makes a throttle assist for the RT, ST and should work on the 2013 and up RS. It is Kaoko part number CAN200. I have a 2013 RS and am going to buy one for mine. The ST and 2013 RS are both fly by wire and use the same handlebars.

2013 Spyder RS - ST Handlebar Swap

I have only taken a very short ride, but the comfort is much better. It gives me a much more upright riding position which relieves a lot of stress on my back.
