• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RS windscreens

My vote goes to MadStad also! They are very well built and fully adjustable to any riders needs. When buying a fixed mount windshield you get what you get. With the MadStad you make it what you want. Also they have a very helpful staff, so call them and explain your situation. They will tell you...

    Problems with tight corners

I have an RS and had the same issue in tight curves. What I found is as others have said shift your weight to the inside, roll into the corner softly and slowly roll into the throttle about half way through the corner. I have been able to take some curves pretty fast. I think BRP got a little...

    LED cost Dont get riped!

As much as it pains me to say, Bob made a good point. If you have no skills at fabrication or electrical you need vendors. However it is good to know for people like myself that can fabricate where to find the materials. So thanks for the original post too.

So how is the HMF pipe working out for you, have you gotten it installed yet? I really like mine, just curious what you think.

vibration and engine noise 013 rs

Dennis, I have a 2013 RS that I bought new as well (previous bike was a chopper). The break-in period has nothing to do with the question that you asked. These Spyders (RS,ST AND RT) are not "smooth". Althought the RT is probably the best of the three. With that being said, higher shift point...

    Corbin or OEM "Comfort Seat"?

I had an ultimate seat and was not a fan. It is better than the stock seat, but what isn't. I found the best money spent is on a Russell Day Long seat. They are custom made to you and your riding position. Yes they are not the cheapest option, but I did not want to spend $400-$500 on a Corbin to...

    HMF EXHAUST

Probably the only way to get it a little louder is to remove the Cat Converter, the 2013s have it before the Muffler. Lamonster does one. I have one being made for my 2013 ST SM5 with an Akrapovic. Mine has gotten louder after about 1500 miles. It is louder, but still not obnoxious.

RT or ST Handlebars on a 2013 RS-S

The DIY thread is mine. I am 6'6" and I did the ST-RS swap. The height of the ST bars fit very well. I have a much more upright sitting position and less back strain while riding. If you have any questions let me know.

    handlebar risers for 13 rs

I put a how-to thread in the DIY section when I did my RS -ST handlebar swap. It is very easy to do and is a great looking swap. I'm not sure how well the RT bars would work, but the ST bars are the way to go in my opinion. If you buy all the parts new it is about $200, IF you can find a spare...

    HMF EXHAUST

I have an HMF on my 2013 RS. They only have one option for the 2013's so it makes pick one easy. You will not need any other mods and it is an easy swap. I've got about 1500 miles on mine and love it.

    Exhaust question

I have an HMF and it did not require any additional mods. I would highly recommend the pipe to anyone that is in the market. It is by far the best price and the build quality is verygood as well.

    Hesitation on hard right turns

DrewNJ, I can't remember exactly what it looked like. If I remember the end of the shaft had a little square magnet in it and it sat against the sensor. I tried to remove it but leave it plugged in and I got a code. I bolted it back on and have not messed with it. It amazes me that BRP gave...
