• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my invitation to test ride.

Glad to see I'm not the only one... A couple of years ago I bought my 2012 RT new without a test ride. Unfortunately, I didn't do adequate research and the salesperson gave me NO insight into the differences between an RT and a Suzuki Boulevard Cruiser (which I had recently sold). There are a...

Is there a compartment opposite the oil/brake fluid compartment?

Well, that was disappointing... Thanks for the pic...that answered the question. I guess my plans for keeping my lunch warm in there while riding home are shot down now. :sour:

Is there a compartment opposite the oil/brake fluid compartment?

Just saw some pics.....not I'm really curious. Just saw some closeups of the dash/handlebar area.....there is definitely a knob on the left-side "panel" exactly like the one on the right side oil check area. Somebody must have seen this and investigated it. What's under that left-side...

Looking For Reviews On RIVCO Floorboards/Heel-Toe Shifter

Have everything Rivco I have the floorboards, heel-toe shifter and hwy brackets/pegs. Love them all. About the heel-toe shifter.....actually, it is a heel-heel shifter. The way it is configured, I use a heel down movement for all shifts...up and down...never use my toe. The way it is layed...

    Indy Spyder Riders

:hun: Of course there's a group (I actually belong to it) :opps: but is has been so inactive that I forgot about it (or I forgot about it because I forget most things at my age.) Sorry for the misinformation. Hopefully we can get more active in the Spring (if I can remember where I parked...

Is there a compartment opposite the oil/brake fluid compartment?

Does anyone know if they are using the left side (the area similar to the small compartment for checking oil but on the opposite side of the gas tank) for anything? Seems to me that would be a great place for a 12v outlet if nothing else. Is there a small door there like on the right side? If...

    Indy Spyder Riders

A few of us have from time to time gotten together for unorganized (almost spur-of-the-moment) rides, but there really is no "organized" group. However, the Indianapolis Motorcycle Group is very active and has a couple of spyder-owning members. If you are anywhere near Indy (especially the...

Will a half-helmet fit in the Cross-Country Saddlebags?

    Anyone know the answer? :dontknow:

    Does the F3's UFit fit?

Yes...Dealers will have a system The service manager at my dealer (who went to the Can-Am F3 test rides and briefings) said to me that he hoped that they would have their "dealer's ......" and I can't remember the actual word he used, something like "kit" or "fitting system" before my F3...

Can-Am "Pre-Season Sales Event" is Impossible to Take Advantage Of...

Talked to another dealer..... This one says that without a VIN, he can't register the warranty and take advantage of the offer (similar to what the original dealer said.) He said that he thinks Can-Am is aiming this offer at 2015 RT's, which he has on the floor, and not the F3's, but there's...

Can-Am "Pre-Season Sales Event" is Impossible to Take Advantage Of...

Okay...here's what Can-Am Said Direct quote from their email to me this evening: "In response to your e-mail I'm sorry to advise that BRP would not be able to honor the 2-year extended warranty offer on the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3-S that you will be purchasing. Dealers are independent...

Can-Am "Pre-Season Sales Event" is Impossible to Take Advantage Of...

Thanks for all of the input...I've gone to the source Emailed Can-Am and clearly explained the situation. I received a very bureaucratic non-answer from their customer service office explaining that dealerships aren't owned by BRP. Not the question i asked, of course. :gaah: I just...

Can-Am "Pre-Season Sales Event" is Impossible to Take Advantage Of...

The VIN is the problem You can't really have a contract without a VIN. I guess it is possible that they will have that in January, even though delivery is set for February. Perhaps the dealer can get that in advance. All the dealer said is, "Maybe they'll extend it." I think I will try...

Can-Am "Pre-Season Sales Event" is Impossible to Take Advantage Of...

This "sales event" gives you a 2-Year B.E.S.T. warranty for purchasing any 2015 no later than Jan 31st. Last week I pre-ordered an F3-S (which I would have purchased then had it been available) but I can't get it (not my fault, this is Can-Am's delivery date) until February...which is just...

    Frame Color on the F3-S

Are all "S" models coming with the red (orange?) frame? On the BRP site, when you click on the Black color, the frame turns to black also. Can anyone confirm that the "S" frame color depends on the Spyder color...or...are they all red?

Now you've got me intrigued... Thanks, Lamonster! I'll keep tuned to see what you come up with.

    Multiple Footpegs? Humm...

Wonder if it would interfere with the break pedal linkage... Since the peg would be further to the rear (with the floorboard installed more forward), it would be farther away from the brake pedal itself, but since I haven't seen it up close, I wonder if it would interfere with the brake...

    Multiple Footpegs? Humm...

Since one of the 'secrets' of staying loose and comfortable when touring is being able to move your foot/leg position while driving, many of us have gotten highway pegs. Nothing new here. Given that premise, I was wondering if anyone thought this might be possible: Install driver floorboards...
