• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weak brakes! Stock Ryker brakes suck - Any other calipers fit?

Yes bigger brake discs and stickier pads will help but keep in mind that new brakes need to be “bedded in” for maximum braking ability. I won’t go into details here, too long, but just Google “bedding in brakes”. I’m a nutshell, gotta get the discs and the pads hot enough to deposit pad material...

Which Ryker seat - Corbin vs Solo?

In my experience with Corbin you can have them adjust the seat padding to suit your body as needed. Just call them and talk to them about your needs. They can probably make it happen. They used to have a ride in service where they’ll seat you and measure you on your bike to make sure everything...

Ryker 900 exhausts - which one do you think is the quietest?

You will not gain any significant HP from an aftermarket exhaust. Keep the factory exhaust and enjoy the bike for what it is!

Where to mount 2" cube aux lights

Mounted mine on the A-arms. The tube clamps centered themselves on the oval tube and basically ensured they were level, then I adjusted them for lateral direction and tightened the bolts using a bit of locktite for safety. Not sure why the pic is sideways.

Air box mod for your Ryker

Agree. Opening up the air box won’t help with air induction due to the fact that the filter is the most restrictive part of the air intake system. The mod doesn’t overcome that. He may gain a hp or two with a K&N but that isn’t enough gain for me to hack up my factory air box. Kudos to him for...

Ryker Headlights switch & icons are reversed - anyone else? Any fixes?

Maybe, but I’m not the one who swapped factory wire connections! My reply was just a suggestion.

Massive Fire At BRP/Can Am Facility In Juarez Mexico

Assembly plant for ATVs and UTVs. Doubt Ryker supply will suffer. Glad to know everyone got out though.

New radiator grill from NC Kustoms

Nice, but a bit over the top lol.

New radiator grill from NC Kustoms

Nope, going for stealthy and subtle.

New radiator grill from NC Kustoms

When I got my Ryker my freind said it looked like the Bat cycle, so I put a small Batman logo on the rear fender, then had a custom designed front grill made by NC Kustoms. Cut from steel and powder coated with a subtle Batman logo in the center. Pretty easy install but the front fascia has to...

Ryker Headlights switch & icons are reversed - anyone else? Any fixes?

Seems to me that the high beam icon should be lit when the low beams are on so you can see the high beam icon in the dark making it easier to identify to turn them on, then reverses to allow the same functionality for the low beam. In other words, the light indicates what to push to activate.

Would like to see pics of your windshield!

    Inexpensive Daytime Running Light (DRL)

Very clean install, looks factory. Personally I would have just wired it into the headlight circuit so it would come on with the ignition on, thereby eliminating the switch and having them operate like in modern cars. I may look into installing that on mine! Thanks for the post!

Was your stock Ryker stable over 50mph? If not, what did you do?

Never had a stability problem. I had a death grip problem which exacerbated the twitchiness at speed. Once I eased up on my grip on the bars she smoothed out. Many members have experienced the same. Remember, sway bars and links have very little load on them when going straight, and they are...

Was your stock Ryker stable over 50mph? If not, what did you do?

Answered in other thread. Ease up on those grips!

    Can Am does it again!!

My 900 is rock solid at 105 mph, let alone at 50. Sway bar end links have nothing to do with straight line stability, they and the sway bar are there to control body roll in corners, keeping the body flat and preventing excessive weight distribution due to centripetal force. Ease up on the...

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

eBay, comes in different widths and colors. I spilt the side stripes in half.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Added some stripes and decals from a certain Italian thoroughbred. The badges are kind of a joke but on the other hand the Ryker can probably take most Ferraris off the line and stay ahead of them for at least 50 yards lol. I’ve always had a thing for red and white together. Hope you like it.

    Passenger backrest recommendations for Ryker?

I have that backrest and since I never use it, I got it for the wife who is somewhat large around the middle and she found it to be too curved and the ends poke into her sides a bit. It is, by the way, a Can Am factory backrest IIRC. I got it at the dealer.

    Aux LED mod question

Update on this project. I wired everything as I saw fit and when I turned the engine on to have power to the headlights, my little voltage regulator began to smoke and I shut it down. I didn't even turn the high beams on. I tested the wiring design on the bench (I had to in order to adjust the...
