• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Connections next to the ignition on F3?

    There is a wire connection on each side of the ignition on the F3. What is the purpose?

    F3 battery

    Looking at an F3 to purchase. Salesman didn't have an answer as to how to hook up a battery tender. He said you have to pull out the frunk, that the battery was located behind it. I put the tender on every day, so that wouldn't be a good option. Anybody know?

    BRP Tires

    Had a new rear tire put on at Spyderfest 2013 and had to replace it this week. 5,000 miles on a tire is crazy...$300 bucks is crazy too! Mechanic said that's about average.:banghead:

    Purchased a used 2012 Touring. The connector for the iPod was not included. Does anyone know what kind of connecting wire it is called and can you purchase from Radio Shack, etc.?

    Heated gloves

    I need battery operated heated gloves before Spyderfest this year. What recommendations does anyone have? I want gloves that have the battery in them (9 volt/AA, etc.) and have the wiring that goes up the fingertips also.

    Driver Backrest position question - RS with Corbin Seat

    I have the same seat/backrest. On long trips, I have to bungie a squishy pillow between me and backrest. The rest of the time, it's a little worthless.

    not happy with corbin

    I've had a Corbin seat for several years and the problem I have is that you can't rest where your tailbone is. I completely slide down. I've even thought about putting an anti-slide piece of material on, but that's a little redneck imo.

    Is this too much for a 2008 Spyder?

    A dealer has a 2008 SM Spyder, 8000 mi. They wanted $12,500 and we got them down to $11,200. Do you think this is a fair price or over-priced for a 4 yr. old Spyder? P.S. We already own 2 Spyders (priceless), but have a need for another.

    I'm also sick of being asked right off the bat "How much?". I'd love to ask them what their income is a year and I'll tell you whether or not you can afford it!
