• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    SE-5 shift problem

    I know this is going to sound really lame, but did you ensure that the shift paddle was tight? There is a screw connecting it to the handlebar, and if it becomes loose it will allow some 'play' in the paddle, and cause major issues when shifting.

    A good hard gust of wind can really shove the Spyder around a lot, so that might have been the case. As long as it isn't a recurrent issue (The pull, not the wind!), then I'd say you are in the clear.

    Not saying you can't...Just saying it would be very, very low on my list of 'possibly good ideas'. If you plan on doing so, please be VERY aware of your stopping distance increase, and acceleration time.

    We have the Dual Exhaust pipes from Spyder1Attitude on ours, and they make a fair amount of noise. A good throaty rumble at idle / cruising, but if you crack the throttle open it'll really sing, too. Certainly worth a look, if nothing else.
