• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    "Nice Snowmobile buddy"!

I have ridden with the same MC off and on since 1989... first on HD's, now on my Spyder... we are a "non-specific-motorcycle-brand" MC so I used to get (friendly) grief from the metric riders in my HD days, but I have yet to get any based on the Spyder (won't get into other grief I get ;)). I...

Anonymous Donates so Original Grip Buddies Can Become a Sponsor

Ordered mine last Saturday and got them Wednesday... installed them today in the garage, took 5 minutes. They feel good and don't look bad either.. I have small(ish) hands and always wear light deerskin gloves but these don't make the grips feel too large for me... will road test later.. so...

We live up in the Hill Country (north of Bandera) and with all the bikes out Friday and Saturday, I saw 3 Spyder RTs, one parked at the OST and two on the road (none were mine :( ). Would like to come down for the bike nite... but gotta wait until it gets dark later... don't like dodging the...

Two Brothers M5 - Which one do you like?

While I have the Carbon Fiber Black edition and like the look, I probably would have bought the Titanium if the dealer would have had one... but the black was the last one and they had it on sale for 50% off..

    Front Elka Install Went Smooth

Wish I would have thought of that... instead my step 4. Using 2 offsett wrenches and a lot of "umph" and "@#$%^&*" , removed the left hand upper bolt..... :banghead:

    XM RADIO RENEWAL SHOCK...

Don't give in too soon George... I called to cancel Sirius in my truck and 3 months later after about a dozen phone call offers and numerous emails they were finally down to $5 a month... only catch was when that renewed, it was back up to the original $160+... told them no for the last time and...

Praise for Elka and Len at Cowtown

Posted this earlier in a thread requesting experiences with Elka Stage 1R+ and feel strongly enough about them to repost this on it's own: "I just installed a set that I got from Len at Cowtown... worth every dime of the purchase price.. it is night and day difference in handling the twisties...

    Elka Stage 1R+ Feedback Needed

 I just installed a set that I got from Len at Cowtown... worth every dime of the purchase price.. it is night and day difference in handling the twisties up here in the Texas Hill Country.. RT-S is more stable than ever in gusty cross winds and I am comfortably taking the twisties that...

How many came off a Goldwing, BMW or Harley dresser

Road my last HD (1990 FLH) until 2005 at which time I sold it to my brother with 80K miles on the clock... he still has it.. went 5 years without riding but after 50+ years of riding I couldn't stand it... bought my RT-S and haven't looked back... Totally different experience but a good...
