• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Non ethanol in the spyder?

How many 4x4 "dualie" J.D./Intl.'s does he have operating on his farm? Heck, Wisc. even grows a lot of corn but it is mainly used for feed, since we rate 2nd to Calif. in the dairy industry. Mac:doorag:

    Non ethanol in the spyder?

I'm not the most "environmentally friendly" person out there and to each his own and I don't have any qualms with anybody who is. I worked at a Yamaha dealership from '95-'98, servicing as I mentioned before, ATV's and snowmobiles and back in the Carb Days, I had numerous customers(farmers and...

    QUESTIONS ABOUT BLEEDING RTL BRAKES

The only adjustment that I know of is for the parking brake cable. I believe I have read on here that the mech. the cable attaches to needs to be turned out when replacing the pads, if I read it correctly. Mac:doorag:

    QUESTIONS ABOUT BLEEDING RTL BRAKES

I am going to do that after I get the tool from HF today. When we did the bleed on the brakes yesterday, I pumped out close to a pint of old fluid, so I should have pretty fresh fluid in there now. Thanks! Mac:thumbup:

    QUESTIONS ABOUT BLEEDING RTL BRAKES

Thanks Warlock, I used a piece of hose with fluid in it also and once the fluid started to flow, the hose never had any air bubbles in it. I am going to HF today and pick up a bleeder tool and see if that will help me get the feel I'm looking for. I've really have never had any issues with...

    QUESTIONS ABOUT BLEEDING RTL BRAKES

Decided to bleed the brakes on our machine today because I felt that the pedal was a little "mushy". I had 2" of pedal movement before I felt any "braking resistance" so I thought their was air in the system. Pulled the front wheels and had the wife press on the pedal and I bled the left front...

    Hazing Headlights

:dontknow: We have a '14 RTL and it has 19K on it and the headlights are just as clear as the day we picked it up from the dealer. Maybe check to see if there is a BRP bulletin/recall on them?? Maybe the gaskets are bad and it allows some moisture to compromise the lights just enough to were...

Interesting analysis ... wide variation in home affordability, by state

I'm sure some relators will use that as a reason to add to the price tag, you know "price higher, sell a little lower" and call it a win-win for the seller and relator. It's what ever the market can sustain, I guess.:dontknow: The wife and I are retired, so we have incomes that are "fixed" now...

Towing a trailer, and forces on the coupler..

How much does the trailer weigh? I think the max weight can only be 400lbs. I tow a motorcycle cargo trailer(had behind a GW also) and our trailer weighs 250lbs. loaded and it does not bounce much at all. Might try experimenting with tire pressures on the trailer tires. Too much can cause it to...

    Competition for 3-wheelers?

I'm right there with you! But on a different note, something like that may have saved me from a couple of high speed crashes back in my "crotch-rocket" track and street days! Macnojoke

Interesting analysis ... wide variation in home affordability, by state

:agree: with above statement, but all it takes is a couple of "below standard" homes in the same neighborhood to bring property values down. I think that is a pretty good summation on income needed. You still have to take into account you will have HOA's, insurance and other expenses to consider...

    Boy Scouts to admit girls

I even did a couple of years in Cub Scouts when I was a young tike living in San Jose, Ca., so yes I remember the leather wallets, belts, and drums we made for badges. Good days for sure. Mac:thumbup:

Interesting analysis ... wide variation in home affordability, by state

As long as we don't have to cross the border(legally) into Calif., we're good! Thanks for posting this. Good food for thought. Mac:thumbup:

    Non ethanol in the spyder?

I feel it made the corn farmers richer, jury's still out to whether we import less of the crude oil or not. I know that motors produced after 1990& something(memory is slipping) are designed to hold up better(rubber & plastic parts), but it still attracts moisture and if it attracts enough, you...
