There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Review: The Can-Am Ryker... A Great Ride!

I have always preferred dual sport and standard motorcycles and took to the Ryker like a duck to water. In comparison, my buddy's 2016 F3L seems over-refined, such that I don't feel near the connection to the road or the bike, and I'm left thinking it lacks some of the thrill factor. But the F3 base or Sport would be my choice anyway, and I've never ridden one of those, so maybe they would be more to my liking. It'll be interesting to hear what you think once you have a test ride. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Well, back looking at a 2021 Ryker Rally. All depends on if my 2 wheeler sells. How does the handling compare to the F3T?

There are similarities, of course. But the Ryker is a completely different animal. As for handling, I'd say the Ryker is superior to the F3 in that it is so quick and nimble. Though the F3 is an excellent machine as well. Anyone interested needs to ride both machines to get that all important feel for what you can expect.

Just think of all the upgrades you can do a Ryker with the money you saved. LOL
Of course all bikes are just "STARTER KITS".
All I can say for sure is that I am having a blast with my Ryker.

Ditto Raven's comments. Having a blast on my Ryker too.

Regarding CVT belt life, I also run K&N air filters on both sides. I have nearly 100,000 miles on Rykers. I've done quite a few belt changes. Early on, I was always frustrated that the old belt looked substantially the same as the new belt that I was putting on and when I laid both belts on the garage floor, I could barely feel a difference in the width of each belt. That was when I was trying to adhere to the manual's expectation of changing every 12,000 miles. Two belt changes ago, I stretched it out to 17,000 miles with the same experience. The old belt looks substantially the same as the new one I was putting on. And, this last time, I changed the belt at 20,000 miles with the same experience.

Now, I ride mainly interstates, highways and back roads and I do not ride like a hooligan. My current Ryker has 57,000 miles on it and I just changed belts a week ago. So, I may never change the CVT belt again and just see how long this belt can really last.

Incidentally, I'm using Gates Red Line belts and I'm obviously happy with them. I'm only unhappy with myself for changing the other darn belts too early! :-)

Not to discourage you with your extended belt service interval. Using a K&N filter on the drive side may be some of the reason for your good fortune. But you want to be careful not to let the belt wear to the point that it slips. This will create a grove in the drive pulleys in pretty short order, and replacing them is not cheap.

Please continue to update us on your belt mileage. Good information.

We just picked up a 2025 Rally after we returned from our Maggie Valley trip. At the rally my wife met up with some other ladies that had Rykers and they answered a few of her questions and quickly whet her appetite for one as soon as we returned to Texas. We got her one on day 2 of our return and she absolutely loves it!! Now, I had no idea how many accessories there were for that machine 'til she got it, but let me just say the aftermarket parts are still coming in almost daily!! Ron, she will be accompanying me next year when we stop by for service work!! Dang… I tried to attach a pic but it just didn’t work…
