Ok, this is driving me crazy! My 2024 RTL top case just constantly bounces and throws everything around inside going over bumps. It seems to have excessive vertical play. The back latch on the bottom is latched. I can still move it up and down and it just flexes the floor where the Linq attachment point is. The Spyder rides extremely smoothly, so it’s not related to the suspension being too stiff. It just seems really loose, and I’m afraid it’s going to fly off at 70mph. Anyone experience this phenomenon?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good idea. I probably wouldn’t have ever known had I not heard items bouncing around behind me. Even at 20 mph it hops up and down pretty good. Very unsettling. I’ll check out some other models. Thanks!

That may be why I have not seen it on mine, because I can't leave the dooryard without my co-pilot!!!They all do. I notice that on group rides - unless you've got a passengermine included. At first, I thought something was wrong with mine.
Love the ride, but these thing are not made of great quality - lots of small issues.
I'll look at mine some more, maybe some rubber bumpers in the right places will stop some of the wobble effect of that case. When you lock that case down with that nut inside, it has nothing to press into! Maybe some weather stripping would help!! Have to look it over!!Lots of small issues! Appreciate the response. Velcro tape. There is a lot of vertical slack after you lock the rear latch in place, even before you put the quarter-turn in place.That may be why I have not seen it on mine, because I can't leave the dooryard without my co-pilot!!!

I wonder if the two arms on the front of the case have been properly slid forward onto the round, pipe-like attachment points.
Before you visit your dealer, watch this video. I might save you a few $$$. At 3:33 in the video, you can see the two arms I was referring to.

Nothing to do with the front arm unfortunately, I got mine off a few times, it’s just the way it’s fastened. And I have seen pretty much all 2020+ with play. We ride a lot with different groups, large and small, and unless there’s a passenger, they all move.
Yeah, it’s not the pivot point in the front. Once my lever has clicked and locked the back of the case into place, I can pick it up and jiggle it up and down. Too much play in the rear latch assembly. Buuuuut, I see it’s a normal annoyance that I’m going to have to live with. I guess I’ll carry around 35lbs of lead weight. That should do it.

I first installed some heavy foam under the box to space things out, but then noted the box still rocked. I then installed some heater hose over the front hinges to finish snuggling things up. I'd say 90% improvement.
