• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why is there a removable Rear fender tip on the Canyons?

Alright Canyoneers, there appears to be a removable tip on the bottom of the rear fender. Why?
On the back of a 2020+ RTs there is a bottom flexable approx 2" plastic flap that will move forward and back like a small attached mud flap.
I believe it isn't designed to be removed because it would have to be cut off.
Some owners have cut it off for personal preference.
I want mine intact to cut down the water spray on my trailer.
(Only advantage I see is would be for changing rear tire, not to have to lift the spyder a few inches)

YMMV, Bill

The flap is held on with 4 push-pins and can be easily removed if the tire is off (or lowered with shock bolt removed). Without it, riders behind you will not enjoy the crap the tire ejects!

I haven’t seen the rear flap on the Canyon, but I have seen many of them come unsnapped on the 2020+ RT. They should snap back in place, but many don’t. I drilled 2 holes and installed push pin type plastic rivets in mine to hold it in place. Some people have gotten frustrated and just taken them off.
