• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Can BUDS detect Can-Bus issues?

Hello all,
While installing an aftermarket Amplifier I crossed a signal-in wire with a speaker-output wire. I didn't let out the magic smoke, but after fixing the mistake there is a hum from the speakers now, even if I plug the factory amp back in. So I’m wondering if I may have screwed the pooch on this one, and what I may be able to do to remedy the issue?
Just curious if I should purchase BUDS to see if it will tell me the issue?

Thanks for your input and time.

I wondered if anyone would know 🤔 I certainly don't have too much helpful knowledge about speakers, nor much expertise with BUDS (altho I might have what could be called 'a fumbling grasp of the basics'!! I basically fumble along until I work out how to do things!! 😖) I didn't think it'd do anything much for you beyond maybe showing up a Code identifying where the signal didn't get thru, so was waiting to see if anyone had more specific info. 😞

Glad you found out (y) But is there any chance you could share what it was that you found out, in order to help others who may have the same question later? 🤔
