• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looks like the 2024 F3L gets 5 position heated grips?

Wow, the RT only has 3 levels (high, low, and off). My BMW had 5 levels and then off, and I loved them. My F3L only has the on and off setting. It is better than nothing, but really lacking when temps get below 40.

The kill switch in that picture is what caught my eye also, three steps to that also? If it works the way it's explanted, you could get messed up with that center position!

I wonder if this is something that will retrofit on the earlier F3 models? 🍿 🍿 🍿

If it can be retrofitted to the earlier models like my 2022 F3S it would IMO actually be "considered" as a handle bar warmer. I had the on/off version installed by the dealer and they are almost useless compared to the skidoo handlebar warmers.

It looks as if that is now the start button also, just like my cvo.

There are currently no heated grips available for the 2024/25 F3-T. My dealer told me that and I verified it with Can Am. I told the rep at Can Am that when you go to Build Your Spyder on their web page, heated grips are listed as an option. When you try to order that option it says that they will not fit the T. I suggested that they should remove heated grips from the option list.

My dealer took the extra step and checked to see what the price would be if they ordered heated grips for the Limited (Limited comes with heated grips installed). The cost was over $700 dollars for the parts..

I have a 2024 F3L and the heated grips do have a bar graph showing the level of intensity on the right side of the display and are quite warm.

That is the same type of switch that was on my BMW. It works great. If you need to kill the engine hit the top of the switch. If you want to start the engine just press the bottom of the switch. I never have :) but I know some people who have used the kill switch to stop the engine and when they went to start the bike it would not start. It's really a two position switch - stop, and start.
