• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dealer Recomendations

Het gang, I recently moved back to the Houston area (west side), and am in need of an oil change. Any input on dealer Recomendations would be appreciated. I am not setup yet to do it myself. Thanks

Why Spyders (and people) love California

SO Cal Yes I have to agree that with over 300 days of possible riding weather, we will miss it! We especially miss all of the great riding friends we made like Chupaca. Well I guess we will just have to burn up the back roads of Texas now.

    Hitting the Highway

Long rides My wife and I both like our 3/4 helmets (bell) with the sena Bluetooth on them. Our cup holders are very cheap. I bought two baby stroller cup holders and modded them to work using zip ties. The work and if I lose one, which has happened, I am out $12 bucks or so. We always get the...

Where in Texas are you from?

Where in Texas? I have just relocated from San Diego to Katy (just west of Houston). I will start riding the area in late Feb through mid June. I do 4 month deployments to the middle east then home for 4 and plan to ride as much as I can during that time. We came from an area with a very active...

CONSENSUS HERE WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

My 2 cents If the potential Highway travel first off bothers you or causes you to pause then get it delivered. I on the other hand rode mine home from the dealer (about ten miles most of it freeway), and then took off from the house and did a very "slow mountain" ride. You will learn it fast...

Unusual Questions You've Been Asked About Your Spyder?

Questions How about can my kid sit on it so I can take a picture? I usually say I would rather you not, especially since I put the "Ultimate" seat on it. Cost to much to have some ankle biter scuffing it.:yikes:

    NOT HAPPY WITH BRP (AGAIN)

I agree! I happen to agree with the OP. BRP is lacking in the parts supply chain department. I have had to wait ten plus days twice for the valve cover gaskets to come from Canada. I am sure that if BRP wanted to they could get larger dealers in strategic areas to stock "common failure" parts...
