• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    622 Trailer Lock removal question

Thanks Joe I thought about that but it is too cold / salty roads to ride down to the dealer and I don't really want to take the back end of the trailer apart to do it. I think a call to the dealer for a key may be easiest. Thanks, Bob

    622 Trailer Lock removal question

I am selling my 622 trailer that is keyed the same as my bike. I'd rather not give away one of my keys with the trailer. Does anybody know if you have to have the key to remove the barrel? My RTL came with an extra lock so I am hopping others did too. Thanks, Bob

    Front wheel vibration?

Check the balance and the alignment and do the laser alignment. Just so you don't make multiple trips.

    Hardley's Troubles Continue

I guess my point was that this has been coming for a long time and I find hard to believe that anything in the last 6 weeks had anything at all to do with it. But of course I could just be pissed that they quit making the VROD and never put the Revo in a touring bike. I would bet you a whole...

    Hardley's Troubles Continue

Yeah that's the ticket... Tax reform caused the whole thing How about a dealer network that, for the most part, refused to embrace an entire product line because it wasn't "a real Harley." How about a MoCo whose biggest change in the last 10 years is a motor that doesn't shake the life out of...

"The Circle Tour" ride around Lake Superior

My wife and I did the Lake Michigan Circle. We went up to the southeastern part of Superior for a night and the next day. Take plenty of mosquito spray for sure.

    BANG!

Ummm, not for long. They'll be calling her lucky from now on. Somebody needs to tell her to get her weight forward when she shoots too.

wont start with rear tire on the ground

Agreed. But I also know that a battery at less than 12 bolts will cause other things to happen, codes, etc. I can tell you that with 11.7 volts mine acted like pushing the starter button was causing a dead short and the whole ECM would reboot. Getting the battery to the proper level...

wont start with rear tire on the ground

Go with easy first, charge the battery then start figuring out what else might be wrong if that doesn't take care of it.

wont start with rear tire on the ground

Put a charger on the battery, it should be at 13 +. Mine was at 11.7 an doing all sorts of weird things. Charge the battery and all is good.

    Dead Spyder need some help.

That is good to know. I thought a 12 volt battery would be fully charged at 12. Learn something new everyday. Thanks.
