• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where's best for Selling my 2021 Spyder RT Limited?

I am going to be selling my 2021 RT Limited. Where have folks had the best luck? Here? Motorcycle Trader? Ebay? Took a longer ride; about a 1000 miles total and the Spyder is just not for me. So I'll get it cleaned up and take a plethora of pictures and get to the task of selling. Open to...

First "Long" ride upcoming - Las Vegas to Reno

I don't own a trailer for the Spyder and honestly - Im not a big fan of pulling trailers even with a car or truck. And full disclosure - I cannot back up a trailer to save my life. Our trip will require very little packing and will well fit within the limits of the Spyder

First "Long" ride upcoming - Las Vegas to Reno

Actually if the weatherman is to be believed - highs of 80's in Reno; but we are from Las Vegas - so our big stainless water jug will be filled with water and ice riding in the frunk. I also finally bought our individual drink holders and am mounting them for our travels. AND mounting our rear...

First "Long" ride upcoming - Las Vegas to Reno

Will be in Pahrump for Fall Festival on Saturday the 24th for the carnival and rodeo (visit my mom and drag my kids and grandkids out to play) - and then on Sunday we head up to Tonopah. I was going up 95 as I have made that trip numerous times and more familiar with services (and candy store...

First "Long" ride upcoming - Las Vegas to Reno

Yeah, my car has a lot more range than our Spyder; so Ill get gas when opportunities present - and stretch and eat candy bars and grab a water as well.

First "Long" ride upcoming - Las Vegas to Reno

Las Vegas to Tonopah - 220 miles - staying at the "haunted" Hotel Miz Pah. Then 230 into Reno and the Silver Legacy. Then the reverse coming home. In the car; Ill run 600 mile days all day - not quite willing to go like that yet on the Spyder. Especially when we are going solely for fun. So...

First "Long" ride upcoming - Las Vegas to Reno

I know 500 miles is nothing to most - but this will be the first "long" trip on our Spyder for the wife and I. Looking forward to a leisurely trip along the "Loneliest Highway in America" atop three wheels. And seeing Reno, Tahoe and Virginia City from a different perspective. Wish us luck...

New to Spyder - Have a handling question

I rode two wheels for years. And like you; a knee injury (tripped and fell - driving a 3/4 inch bolt thru my kneecap and twisting the leg sideways - tearing mcl, lcl and acl) So... Not as confident holding up a two wheeler - especially with my wife or grandsons on board. I have just shy of...

Any former RT riders unhappy they moved to an F3 Ltd?

My opinion for what little it is worth. When I started looking at Spyders - I sat on a few older RT models and "hated" the upright "sitting on top of the bike" position. I found the F3 to be much better feeling over the older RT. When I got serious about buying - I was not even considering the...

Seat Strut won't hold up seat - any non-OEM replacements?

My 2021 has never held itself open either. My wife and I shoot Cowboy Action and a long wooden spoon had already given up its life to become a cartridge pusher for loading her rifle (cut the handle down and the ladle becomes a gripping area with the "now" short stub of a dowel for pushing...

Don't like having to turn wheels to lock

Maybe your pistol is just too big? :D My backup concealed carry Ruger LCP AND my leather wallet both ride in that compartment while I'm rolling. Full size carry is another thing altogether. Ride safe.

2023 rumors - anyone heard anything about the 2023 release?

I honestly had never seen that before I posted - but EV is the future and I foresee most transportation companies moving that way - so it wasn't much of a stretch. But still very cool.

2023 rumors - anyone heard anything about the 2023 release?

2nd guess - in addition to a return to offroad 2 wheel motorcycles - BRP will announce an all new line of streetbikes based around Spyder drivelines. (or an entry priced bike based on Ryker underpinnings) They already have engines, transmissions, 70% of the frame and 90% of the assorted pieces...

2023 rumors - anyone heard anything about the 2023 release?

If you want a guess - I would expect an announcement of electrification coming in '25 or '26. With the announced return of 2 wheel motorcycles (and the current climate of supply chain issues and full retail sales prices) - I would be surprised if BRP has spent (or will spend) a single dime...

Anyone removed their Engine covers (2021 RTL) & left it exposed? Any downsides?

I think in hindsight - I should have gotten a F3 Limited. But... I didn't. So now I am looking at my options.
