• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Checking Oil

n Well, seems like over engineering to me. When the oil is changed, check it the regular way, did that just yesterday.Take the dipstick out, clean it off again and reinsert it, but don't screw it down. Simple enough. Pull dipstick, see where it is on the "unscrewed in dipstick" and remember...

Spyder as a daily driver? Pros/Cons?

Bingo Identical situation, except my 2011RT has 66,000 on it now. We're both retired and Nancy lets me drive her Rav4 when I've been good. So, I don't get to use it much. I do have a backup, my 1986 Honda Helix. If I could only get my daughter's 2 year old Boxer to stay on the back seat, I'd...

    Atlanta Dealer Question

Kemmesaw tech No, Mitch went with Yamaha. He was great, but they have an experienced tech, Mike, and he does excellent work also. You will be happy with him or Cartersville, both are super. Tuck

    Acknowledging Other Riders

The Wave I was raised in a little CT town in the 40/50s. Worked at a dairy and peddled milk , to get college money. Everyone waved at A Parkers' Dairy truck. They were mostly all customers. And we always waved back. Three police cars in town. Always wave at the police. Fast forward to today in...

    Recurring limp home mode

Loaner About 16 months ago, had a lingering mx problem and left bike at the (since sold) dealership. Told them a loaner would really be appreciated due to repeated trip over two lingering problems. Two loaners over the next month, 600 miles on a 2012 RT and 1400 miles on a 2014 RT. So yes, do...

    Riding with arthritis

Me too!! Well, I had to go to three wheels due to my right hip with "spastic" arthritis. Out of nowhere the darn thing will go balistic and my handy dandy right hand brake I paid $1400 for years ago from the great guys in Montgomery, saves the day!! Normally, i just have arthritis that hurts...

Just a little more storage on an RT..??

storage I have exactly the same setup in the back. Living in N. GA, you need rain gear, plenty of gloves, neck thingys, elect jacket, controllers, etc. Little weight for the back and it leaves other basic storage for all kinds of stuff. Got caught in snow a week ago and I was on a PGR mission...

    225/50-15 KUMHO ECSTA AST 50R R15 TIRE

K tire pressure There are about 20 diff ideas. I ran 18 on one and 28 on another . Both were fine, only got about 14000 out of them. Back to see if newer OEM tire is better, some said it is. Have 28 in it with Ride on installed too. Have kept up with all those I ride with in curves, hills...

    ISCI Handbrake for F3 installed

Hand Brake I rode down to MGM from north of ATL in Feb, 4 years ago and they installed it in about 6 hours the next day. Had to get it due to arthritis in my right hip. At first, my impression was it was a little weak, the problem was more arthtitis in my right elbow than I realized, plus the...

Bringing my baby to the shop

Ride it . I had similar situation for months where they couldn't find a real problem. Too long a story, it is apparently fixed now with new left fuel injection sys and 2 new plugs. I just kept riding it because it ran perfectly. Very frustrating though. Throttle potentiometer was replaced...

    Trike Class

This is a super class. If you have not taken any trike class in the last couple years, You will be delighted with Ray and his staff. The course and facilities in Cartersville are super. Been two years since I attended the first one Ray did. It was superb. Unfortunately, I showed my spasticity...
