• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    What needs to happen is US DOT and NHTSA need to get together and set standard for OBD for motorcycles and other small recreation vehicles, just like in automobiles. Can-Am has their own protocol, Honda has their own connector and protocol, etc. But that would make life too easy. Cheers!

    Reading here for the last couple of weeks, Seems to me that Can-Am dealerships get less and less friendly in their Service department. They charge a pretty penny for the work they do on these Spyders, why the attitude? I might have to sell my RT-L and just stick with my Honda Rebel 1100. Cheers!

    That cable does not look like it belongs to a Spyder. I'm not 100 percent sure but it looks like a cable to go from an old camcorder to a Firewire connector, decades old video tech. Hang it in your garage as a trophy.

    Paul, Remember I had a similar problem with my '13 RT-L, it was stuck in 1st gear. Tried this and tried that but finally brought to Young Powersports and they had to reset the TCM to fix the problem. Was not anything mechanical.
