• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Airbag jackets

I ordered an impact jacket. The guy gave me 2009 price on 2010 jacket. The new one is $450! Zip off sleeves, zip out liner, waterproof. Mesh jacket. I like the airbag idea but I wonder if jacket is too hot for summer, or too much a PITA to plug in each time. But safety is safety and I...

    Airbag jackets

Do spyder ryders subscribe to ATGATT? Is there a perception among bikers that the safety gear is less important for the spyder than a two-wheeler? Do folks here have experience with Impact Jackets or Hit-air jackets or motoair jackets? (Airbag jackets).

Potential Buyer - Time to Stay Clear of a Spyder

I own a 2008 spyder, 6300 trouble-free miles. I had the recall done. No problems. Whiners show up here and worriers show up here. Fires? I'd worry more about getting hit by lightning! Jump in! If you are willing to risk riding a motorcycle in the first place, a spontaneous fire should...

    Brake longevity

I have 5500 miles on my se5. Brake failure light came on I ignored it for last 500 miles. No apparent issues when riding. Dealer says brakes worn out not covered by warranty. Seems like very short life for brakes. Thoughts?

Okay, Who'd pay to get rid of the 'Read Card' Message?

That darn safety switch thing drives me nuts and yes i'd pay to get rid of it as long as fix is easy.

    Freaky

Yes mine does it frequently when i first start it and then i put it back into neutral; it never seems to lurch forward though. I never worry about it for that reason.

    Take the Spyder Golfing !

I put my golf bag on the back seat, and fastened it with a seat belt and a bicycle chain to the passenger back rest. I rode 30 miles on the interstate no problems. Just lay it across the back seat.

Bone crusher is right; western Christian civilization is in retreat. Let us not be ashamed to defend ourselves and promote the good and combat the evil.

    Motorcycles vs Spyder

Ok everybody piled on recluze. Let's be fair and recognize the following: a) this forum is fun because we get to bounce ideas off each other. B) we all have expressed opinions at one time or another that we later dismiss or regret. C) we all have expressed opinions in a faulty way and find...

    Motorcycles vs Spyder

Ok ultra classic super glide aficionados don't get defensive; i like any friggin' bike and everyone should ride whatever they enjoy! I'm just saying that the spyder should not be disrespected as a bike just because it's on 3 wheels. Lots of 2 wheelers are less exciting to me including most...
