• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

E15 , got this back in response to my asking him to not to support the new E15 rules

E15 Doesn't look like you got much of a reply to me . You ask about E15 and get a form letter rant about coal fired electricity . The last time I checked it was refineries that made gasoline . Typical response from a congressman . ( P.S.......don't forget to sign up for his newsletter ).:gaah:

    NOT happy with BRP

I feel your pain FB. Because of the problems I had in getting my Spyder fixed ( un-caring dealer and untrained techs ) , I chose to get rid of mine and wait for BRP to establish a better dealer network. I'm still waiting. I hope you can get your problems resolved and have confidence that it is...

600 Mile service done in Houston

600 Mile Service Hopefully things have changed at the Mancuso Dealership in League City. When I took my Spyder there a few years back for the steering lock-up problem they said they could not find anything wrong but said that I did need new rear brake pads. That was total BS because I had just...

    twist throttle vs thumb throttle

Throttle I started racing three-wheelers back in 1982,had a Honda 250R that came with a thumb throttle. After one race I trashed it and went to a twist throttle because of the pain and the pump it caused in my wrist. The 1985 Kawasaki Tecate I bought next came with a twist throttle from the...

    Fact or Fiction

Just Curious The reason they were outlawed was because too many irresponsible adults were letting their young children ride them unsupervised and they were getting hurt. I used to race them back in the mid eighties and saw this first hand. I never got hurt on mine and as a matter of fact I...

I would like to make a request,

License Plate In my case things have definitely changed. After having my Spyder worked on several times at different dealerships with only one mechanic actually knowing what he was doing ,I traded mine for a KLR-650 and some cash. I still lurk on this site from time to time and its obvious to...

    Texas Tripod Signing Off

Traded the Spyder in today for a new KLR-650 and some cash. It was getting to be too much of a hassle to transport it to Houston whenever I needed work done. It had been at Mancuso for several weeks for minor work and to get the new DPS installed so I decided to get something that I could work...
